“The owner and his wife are so nice and kind. I get fruit there, but love the take out there. My girls and I love the Chana bhatura, along with the curries they offer every week. All are vegetarian and tasty, the paneers are my favorite!”

“Who doesn't love their local Trader Joe's? This branch is organized and clean. Not too busy during the day, but weekends can be crowded. Recommend coming early to have the best shopping experience. Great workers- always helpful and friendly”

“It's a very nice grocery store with lot of fresh vegetables. They have a good selection of beer and liquor. Mangoes and fresh fruits are very good. It's quite conveniently located in a residential neighborhood. It's walkable and we can get last minute items in a quick time frame. The price of the items is pretty competitive. The place is pretty neat and clean. The employees are very friendly and courteous. There are few areas to improve. For example, they have a very limited pasta sauce collection. So far no bad experiences. Hope it stays that way.”

“Convenience/liquor store in an old strip mall. Nothing special about it, other than it's interesting history. On their signage, the word "Market" is set in what looks like a football shape, complete with laces. After doing some research, I discovered that this store was originally called "McElhenny Markets", and was owned by NFL player Hugh McElhenny, who played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1952-1960. The ownership has changed, but the football logo remains, all these years later. Just a little Pleasanton history/trivia for you! I've picked up a soda, snack or six pack here on occasion. Decent selection and service.”

“Raley's is one of my favorites! They have some brands that the other Grocery stores don't have. They also have some higher quality, harder to find items, like specialty soda in the cooler. ?”

“As usual, the Diner was immaculate as we walked in. We were seated immediately as it wasn't that busy. We knew the waiter as he's served us many times before. His nickname is " Ino." He's just a very nice young man. He made us fresh coffee as we decided what we wanted. I had a double cheese burger and fries with coffee. My wife had a tasty salad and the turkey dinner. We received our meal blazing hot. My burger was wrapped in parchment paper, which made it very easy to eat. It was perfectly cooked. My fries were fine. My wife's turkey and gravy was very good as I had to sample it.The service was great. Ino was as nice as he always is. The food was very tasty. We left a big tip as always since it was earned. This is a very well run black bear diner. I highly recommend it.”

“Safeway is my preferred supermarket and the savings with the app are great. This Safeway deserves special recognition. I had an issue with a clipped coupon on the app at self checkout, and the woman that helped me was a role model for good customer service.”

“Good morning Safeway! How are you all doing? Its me, Daniel Rita's Beauty Intoxication. Gosh, it has been a while and I wish I could go to Aspen? Have you ever been to Colorado? I was offered to go there back when we had Gay.com. Gay Days was fun when we use to do that. Kelly Rowland performed the day that we went to it. I went with my friend Kyle and I forgot my other friends name that we went with. If its been awhile since we talked its like Perfect Strangers. But I am writing this because well in life its about numbers and what is the sum or the root of the us having the economic equality from playing a game of Four Square. Do you remember playing that game in elementry school? Well yesterday I had Duo Combo Rainbow & Spicy Roll with a Chickpot pie and Mix nut Quad as a sample. I had a security breach at a tent up north that triggered some to do the unimaginable on with the chain of events. Team work is everything and they had Lazar refuse to help out. We use to have the Rainbow Community Club in Concord of which we had Rainbow in Stockton. I use to go to Delta. I did a year at Junior College. I recently was there and I was in a pinch trying to figure out where everything one was and BJ's had the best pizza there if you are in that area, I recommend that. Any who, throughout the paths of life, we all have several routes. Today a Berekely Farms just took to of my crates that was with my carts that I have. I remember the team that we had a few years back as well as years ago. Do you remember 1990? I remember the earthquake in 89 and my swing set that I had. Talk about a shift when doing the swing. Makes me wonder at times. Who do I talk to in the area about doing the accounting? I had my ex partners mini cooper stolen in Oakland a few years back. They emptied everything out there trying to make something else work. Insurance on that song "can I get a refill?" With the production. Anywho, just on the street trying to be point in the right direction on this without an interjection?”

“This review is for my experience at the bakery. First off, yes i admit I love Safeway birthday cake lol. It's a nostalgic thing for my family and we get it for at least 1-2 birthdays a year. It used be a simple task ordering a cake from my local Fremont Safeway but now they're ALWAYS fully booked and in general have a super rude/bad attitude and declining quality in their cakes. This location is somewhat near my work and I ordered from here once since Fremont was fully booked and the folks at the bakery department went out of their way to make a special design for my sisters birthday and it tasted SO good! Even my family members who aren't into safeway cakes loved the cake and were shocked it was from Safeway. Though it's a bit out of the way for me, I always order from here now and appreciate the quality and service for special days!”

“I frequently visit this Walmart, as it's conveniently located just 4 to 5 blocks away from my residence. The store's overall setup is clean and well-organized, and I appreciate how they've condensed the size of a traditional Walmart into a neighborhood grocery store. There's even another Walmart located approximately half a mile away, which I refer to as the "actual" Walmart. Here at this local Walmart, I can find most grocery items at competitive prices, although they may not always be the best deals. However, I do appreciate the convenience of shopping here, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One unique aspect of this store is their heavy utilization of self-checkout lanes. Out of 10 lanes, 8 of them are designated for self-checkout, and it's great to see that most customers know how to operate them efficiently. This helps to minimize wait times and ensures a smooth shopping experience for everyone.”

“Update: 12.28.23 Valentine's Day & St. Patrick's Day merch is already on the shelves! Not much Christmas merch left except for clothing.Update: 08.22.23 Halloween is apparently already here when plenty of back-to-school supplies! Couldn't find anyone to let us in to a changing room though we both looked for 5 mins... That's a typical occurrence, doesn't seem like there's a dedicated employee at the counter there for some time. Otherwise, store was clean & orderly. Don't expect everything to be in stock late afternoon to early evening, as this isn't the case, and it's understandable. Cashier was friendly & polite - another anomaly at this store, but very welcomed. Couldn't update bathroom as we just. couldn't. go. in. there. again. (Hope they've really cleaned it up since our really yucky experience there & they check out its condition regularly for real.)Update 9.20.22: Lots of stocking going on for fall & Christmas already. Garden center more sparse, replaced with bicycles & winter needs. Women's bathroom is really unacceptable. Doors don't even lock since metal panels don't align, so can't be sure of privacy unless you hold doors closed while using the facilities. Garbage was overflowing with paper towels, etc., just not well-maintained.All the good prices you'd expect at Walmart, but parking is often full near the front, even disabled spots are always full, which is hard when I bring a disabled family member. Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. Usually sufficient number of cashiers, typically a reasonable wait to pay. Dressing room attendant is unfriendly & spent a lot of time talking with other employees nearby while I waited to try on some pants. They were talking about another coworker, very unpleasant & rude. I go for the prices, not the service or "ambiance" so my expectations aren't too high. Good location off 580 at Hacienda exit.”

“People are so harsh on Walmart stores! This retailer operates at low prices and caters to a very specific low income or cost savings seeking type of customer. This is not Target folks, the aisles aren't going to look high end nor is it always going to look organized and tidy but that's what you get when you shop at a place like this.Sure it's not the prettiest store to look at and things are often misplaced, but for what it is I think its a great store with really hard working staff just trying to do their job and make a living. I've seen customers give the staff here a lot of attitude and in my opinion it's unjustified. Working retail is VERY difficult especially during the holidays, please be respectful to the workers at all Walmarts, this is a hard job and people are just trying to get by.I came to this location for Christmas decorations in their garden area. They have low prices for ornaments all things considered. The stuff here isn't the greatest quality however it's simple and stocked enough. This location has plenty of parking! They have a very tiny produce section though I wish they would expand the fresh food section. The man in the front that checks your receipt is a ray of sunshine by the way, you just cant be sad when you see him smile and wish you a happy holidays, and he means it when he says it too. That man deserves the best!”

“Clean Safeway and the isles are always tidy and organized. I also like how this Safeway is not on a big boulevard so it's a bit quieter than the one on Dublin Boulevard. And also because of that, I feel like this Safeway is also more stocked than the other, again maybe because it's typically less busy. Parking is always easy and plenty, and it's located within the same plaza as other stores such as Walgreens. I bought two bags of O Organics cookies (mini chocolate chips & animal cookies), just to try them, and they were delicious. The animal cookies were so crisp and the vanilla flavor really came through. They tasted really clean and sweet. I'm a fan. The mini chocolate chips were great too. They were perfectly bite sized, a little light and airy, yet the flavor was bursting. They made really great snack options.”
