I found Macys Furniture store a great store to shop furniture but what was disappointing was that they do not offer swatches. As we do more & more online shopping & stores have limited space for instore shopping we need to see swatches. Its not easy to return large furniture pieces if upholstery is not exactly right for your space.

Walked in and within a few steps found exactly what I was looking for. During my purchase I was advised that the item was on sale. The service was terrific, the item is perfect, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Mario and Macy's!

Never experienced such indifferent "service" before. This guy Issac didn't care if he sold me anything or not and made no effort to show me anything he thought might interest me. I told him what I was interested in and mentioned I was interested in inexpensive options. So he showed me the cheapest model they had and that's where his help ended. Never suggested anything else. Through the whole 10 minute encounter he looked right through me and never looked me in the eye. Like he was talking to someone across the room, not me. Well I didn't like the cheapest option and I didn't like Issac so I won't be going back. Like dude, show me a couple options, talk directly to me, ask me a couple questions to see if there's something else I might be interested in.

I bought a leather sofa and love seat along with a 300.00 3 year warranty plan November 2020. We began noticing the color fading off of the couch around June 2022. By the end of September the entire set was beginning to discolor. I called customer service to inquire about my warranty. They told me my warranty on the fabric was only good for 1 year. I was floored ,disappointed and out raged only because I purchased the warranty over the telephone and Macys never sent me the warranty so I never read it and l never expected a leather couch to turn 2 shades of brown. I will never purchase any product from Macys again especially furniture. This is awful, l feel as though I really got ripped off and no repercussion , Just a oh well. Wow awful just awful !!! They took my money like a thief. This is the Macys furniture gallery in Pleasanton, California.!

Pretty awful experience from start to finish. Walked in and counted 7 employees sitting on the furniture, minding their own business and completely ignoring all customers who walked in. Staff continued their tea party as their customers wandered around like sheep trying to get some help. I don't understand how this store is still in business and am ashamed to have recommended it to my friends.

No customer service. Went there two times and waited for an hour plus to get someone to help answer queries. Reached out to a salesman who promised to send someone to me, no one showed up for 30+ minutes so asked the same salesman who now declined to recognize me and his commitment to send someone. There was no more than 3-4 customers in the store at that time. There were many salespersons in the store that looked too busy(alone) and not willing to even make eye contact.Salesman named DAVE misbehaved and was rude.

In store sales service was good. The delivery service was the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered a couch with the top tier white glove service. The delivery was not completed. The delivery men refused to unbox the couch in order to fit it through the door. White glove service included unboxing and taking materials. The guys could barely lift the packaged couch. As they tried to fit the boxed couch through the area, my window was damaged. I was told by customer service that I would be compensated for damages. Customers service has been MIA after several attempts. Definitely will never use Macy's delivery service again. Bought a different couch from Costco. Delivery was included and service was outstanding. The delivery guys knew what they were doing and understood that a couch in a box is not the way to fit it through the door.

Worse customer service. I have been working over a month to get a voucher for furniture warranty I purchased and never used at this location… worrynomore and macys store (Pleasanton) and macys customer service have been of no assistance. They promise everything and deliver nothing other than quote: call here…transfer there…call here… transfer there… repeat. No help whatsoever.

Needed a new couch, fell in love with a couch here that was the perfect size and super comfy, and picked out a fabric and color from the ~100 of material options.It has now been 9 months and we still don't know when the couch will be delivered.Our initial estimate was 5 months. I called at that point and was given a pushback of 1 month. I called then and was given a pushback of 3 more weeks. I called then and now the pushback is 2 more months.The guy working with us is really nice and telling us the manufacturer has a problem getting the material we picked. So we said let's pick another material. Well apparently out of the ~100 options only 1 color/fabric would be faster.....and it would still be a month out.So now we are waiting the 2 months.Why not just cancel at this point you might ask? Well it turns out the initial deposit they collect when you order is nonrefundable. Which they don't tell you, it's just in the fine print. Screw us right. I sincerely hope we get our couch within the year. And I will never get furniture here again.

This has to be a very unprofessional place. I asked for a chair that was on clearance. Another sales person named April went in and sold it while we were finalizing our payment.
