“A True Gem in Pleasanton!
I’ve been shopping at Banu International Market in Pleasanton for the past few years, and it’s truly one of my favorite places. The customer service is exceptional—this amazing family-run business makes every visit special. The moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm smile and called by name. It’s like talking to your favorite family member every time you’re there.
Not only do they have everything I’m looking for, but I always discover something new and delightful. The personal care, friendly atmosphere, and quality products make this market a true treasure in our community. Highly recommend!”
“They have malasadas now, it was cooked perfectly and they have flavored ones, I got the chocolate, lemon and lilikoi filled. the lilikoi was delicious and included the passion fruit seeds...so fresh!! The lady at the counter had a steaming pot of fresh tamales. I got 2 and kicked myself because they were so tasty and moist. I want more, I will go there again next week..”

I get frozen dumplings, cheesecakes, pickles of many kinds quite often.
I venture out to get other things now and then.
I wish it was a bigger store with a salad bar, pirogi and hot dishes, such as golubtzi, kotlety, borch. And also holodetz would be nice.
If you like salmon caviar, buy it here. They sell frozen packages with a weight just a little over 1 kg. This caviar is delicious and not overly salty (like most of the canned caviar)”

“Can't find a reason to criticise this place! Clean, well stocked, well laid out and with friendly, helpful staff. Good opening hours too, especially for a visiting Brit. The literal icing on the cake was the bakery section. The selection of British chocolate followed by cakes that should probably be illegal left my sweet-toothed self in sugar heaven!”

“Lions food market is excellent plus there's so many people working at the register that you'll never be in a long line plus there's so many good food and things that you could pick up buy coffee vegetables seafood fresh seafood meet there's all kinds of different things you can buy over there and what the best thing about it is they always serve you with a smile when they're at the register they're really humble I've been going over here for about 2 years or more and I continue to go over there because I love the different things they have in the shelf so I highly recommend this place because they're really humble in there they're kind attentive and they're really not that expensive there's all kinds of different items you can pick out of to buy so join me at the Lions food market because you'll never regret it there's so many things to buy fresh seafood fresh meat canned food coffee candy fresh vegetables rice and all they're all reasonable prices don't hesitate to come in the lions food market you just keep going back for more just like I do I love their Vietnamese coffee I drink that everyday”

“I actually stopped there to pick up some bananas and found they had some good digital prices online if you click the coupon The only thing though is the app I have issues with because it doesn't recognize my number although we clearly shows it in my profile kind of a hassle to me as the cashier has to modify the price versus it just charging me the price that's quoted”

“I had a generally great shopping experience at this Walmart Neighborhood Market. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Shelves were mostly stocked, and self service checkout was convienent and moved quickly. All of the items I needed were in stock. It’s a convenient location for everyday groceries and essentials, especially when you don’t want to deal with a larger superstore.”

“Love how organized and clean the store is. And there's a variety of items available both on the shelves and in the deli, produce, and meat section.
The employees are more often than not courteous, helpfu,l and prompt at service. The clerks are also. If there's ever a problem, it is addressed promptly.
I love the choices at the salad bar. And There's even sushi available but the deli.
