“How many months does it take to fix an ice machine? Because we are closing in on 9 months I think. My lifelong commitment to Arco is based on 2 simple truths. Slurpee's and Crushed Ice. I feel like we are headed for a divorce. All summer NO CRUSHED ICE. Slurpee's have been sketchy. I don't want to break up FIX THE ICE.”

“I stopped bye a few months ago for old time sake on my way to LA. It’s still Great, friendly, and Awesome Customer service. I was surprised to see the renovations in that place. It’s still has the same vibe From back in the days. I miss the store. I used Manage it from 2000 to 2003. It still has that same vibe great service and awesome customers and family neighborhood.”

“Very friendly staff. "Joe's WestSide" is somewhat iconic in PORTERVILLE. Been here forever, doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. They have pretty much anything u need and would expect at a corner gas station. Theres more places to eat nearby so this is a good one stop spot to fill up your car and your stomach.”
“Lots of variety! You can find a little bit of everything here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The showers are rarely clean so I prefer flying Js or Loves in that aspect but otherwise a good place to stop.”

“I am a customer on a daily basis and I must say customer service is the best. The cashier's are helpful and the food is so good. The ladies make a delicious chili Verde and the food is fresh and hot always. From pizza to Chinese food it's a great store to meet all your needs. Gas and food and the coldest sodas in this area. I enjoy walking in and seeing everyone working as a team. Stop in If your ever in Poplar and experience Poplar Mart & Gas great service and delicious food.”
“Pros: They have a little bit of everything that is most high in demand (or so I got through by impression only). The staff are friendly and treat people with respect (or so I've seen thus far). They're gas prices are reasonable and if you need stamps or a money order, they're not expensive at all. Con: I've noticed that if they have a air conditioner, they don't believe in using it. They use a swamp cooler. I hate going in there during the summer. Cooler weather is fine, just not 100+ temp.”
“Amazing! I had some bad grease/oil spots all over my car and windshield from going to water drops car wash and they were able to get it off completely. They left it looking brand new inside and out! Definitely will be coming here from now on.”

“This is a gas station in Porterville, just down the road from Walmart. It's a good place to stop and get gasoline before going to Sequoia National Park, if you head that way. The man inside is nice, and the store is air conditioned and has snacks/drinks.”
