First of all, I rarely write reviews unless it's for a very positive or negative experience. Luckily here, it was a very positive one. I was here with my son for a local Ice Hockey tournament at Poway Ice Center - which was very close by. I'm a Hilton Diamond member - usually that doesn't mean much especially at a Hampton Inn. But there were 2 huge benefits for me at this stay. First, they gave me an upgraded "suite" room - which helped tremendously where quite a few of the kids in our team could gather and enjoy some time together. It wasn't a separate sleeping vs living room - just 1 big space - but still quite good.Second, they gave me a 4:00pm late checkout! This helped a lot since my son could come back and take a shower after his hockey game on the last day before the late night flight. Some other positives - I really liked the room layout (my suite) - which had a separate bar sink and microwave in the room. I heard that all the normal 2-queen rooms also have the microwave too (the single king ones don't). The pool was nice and heated. And the breakfast was a decent selection.Lastly - this is something I've never seen at any other hotels - as I walked through the lobby once - I saw a bunch of hotel workers having a meeting and talking about the importance of customer service - it fit quite nicely with the overall experience I had (the upgraded room and late checkout). So appreciate that.

I stayed here for almost 2 months while I had some work done after my place had some water damage. I have been to countless hotels, motels and B&Bs. I would choose this hotel over all of them hands down. The staff is wonderful, the room was perfect and it was so quiet.

2nd time I stay at this hotel for a work trip. The staff are super friendly and check-in always goes smooth. The room is big and it’s a very quiet hotel. The lobby is a great space to hang out with a group or just relax by yourself. Overall great experience!

The stay was just ok. This Hampton Inn is not as good as all of the others we stayed in. The walls are thin so we were kept awake by snoring in the room next to ours. The pillows were kind of flat and we would have liked more cushion in them or more of them to stack up. The exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't seem to effectively remove humidity so towels don't dry when hanged so we always had to ask for more towels from cleaning people, especially since daily maid service wasn't provided for a longer stay. The management charges $10 per night per car for parking and they said it is because it is customary for hotels in the area. I called several nearby hotels and none of them charge for parking. The only other Hampton Inn that we encountered that charged for parking was in downtown New York City so we believe the parking fee is not justifiable for this type of location. Even high tourism beach locations we stayed at didn't have parking charges. The breakfast lady was an exceptionally hard working person....but there was a disappointment that there was no sweet cereal for our kids. I saw most of these issues in previous complaints so I suppose this review will be ignored. The 24 hour hot coffee was often cold and there was usually no dark roast coffee available. The front desk ladies were very nice and polite. The hotel is in an out of the way very quiet location in an office park so not the typical Freeway location and not close to restaurants.

So I stayed here the past couple nights and I'm going to stay another couple nights because this is the most fantastic Hotel ever! The pastor of the church that I went to for help because I was going to end up being in my car for the first time in my life and as a senior citizen that's hard to do. Ivan spoke to the pastor and they put me in a room that the church paid for which I am very blessed for. I want to give a special shout out tonight to Lauren and Dante. They were so friendly so perfect out of all the hotels that I've ever stayed in and I went to travel School, but especially here in Poway and with the other well-known hotels, the customer service was completely non-existent. The room that I had at another hotel was horrible and nonsmoking property and your room smelled like smoke and no hot water? It was wrong and they moved me to another room because when I came back needless to say they had to put me in a different room and it still had a bunch of issues. If I could give 10 stars for this hotel I would and especially to Lauren and Dante I can't begin to tell you how amazing they are thank you so much looking forward to another night here

Excellent service at this exceptionally maintained hotel with modern decor. We booked the meeting space for a company event and communication could not have been better. The Sales Director, Jennifer, the check in attendants, the breakfast staff all went above and beyond. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Our company will be back ! Thank you all.

We typically stay at Marriott but chose Hilton this time because it is close to Seaworld.(21mins drive in the morning).Initially, I couldn't use my AZ government ID for a discount as they required local identification. The first room had a dirty toilet, so we had to change it. Around 10 pm, we heard a man and a woman with the bed creaking next door. It lasted on and off for almost an hour. Because we have a child still awake, it is inappropriate for him to understand what's going on, so we had to change the room again at about 11 pm. While the staff is friendly, for a quiet stay, it's advisable to double-check with the hotel beforehand and ensure you have a local government ID if you need a discount.

Dirty hotel and room; distracted staff; questionable hot food at breakfast. Not kid-friendly at all! In fact, we have stayed at other Hampton Inn properties and they have activities for kids at the lobby, and fun foods at the breakfast like fruit ring cereal. This location didn’t offer any kid activities and had cereals bran flakes, corn flakes, and Cheerios.Uncomfortable bed broken down at sides with ridge in middle. Could actually feel the springs in my back.Front desk staff person ignored us for like 15 minutes when we were to check in. We stood there with our arms full while she helped a guest connect to wifi. She never even acknowledged us or made it known that she worked for the hotel. I had to ask others how to check in FINALLY and they pointed to her. We had to ask to be helped.Rooms: The room was very dirty, and bathroom with mold, and blood on shower curtain. Not only unclean but unsafe. The hallway outside of our room had three large blood drips down the wall which appeared to have been wiped away, leaving stained streaks. The initial blood marks remained. Gross.

Very uncomfortable bed. No real pillows provided either - these were like throw pillows! Did not sleep well at all. The room smelled musty. Breakfast also seemed a bit lacking compared to other Hampton Inns. We come to this area to visit family, but will never be using this hotel again, which is unfortunate as we usually love staying at a Hampton.
