I arrived at this store on Sunday with my boyfriend to purchase home internet, specifically the 5G Ultimate package because it includes a wifi extender. As soon as I walked in the store, I noticed an employee helping another customer. No acknowledge we had entered the store. We waited 20 mins, decided we could come back in an hour, and did just that. Second time walking in the store, an employee named Kole told us he had to clock in and would help.
I am a professional who works full-time. I knew exactly what I wanted, with sufficient funds and credit. This employee ran my name and asked what phone number was associated with my account. I informed him I haven't had a Verizon account for 20 years, do not know or need that number to proceed, and asked him to complete the purchase. He tried a second time. He entered all of my information twice to be told I needed some phone number I had for less than a year 20 years ago, after wasting 45 mins.
We drove to the Poway store and received even worse customer service.
Do not go to this store. Do not have Kole help you if you have to go to the Ramona store.

Bait and Switch tactics at its WORST. We went in to the Ramona Verizon store to inquire about possible upgrade to one of our phones. While there Armando S explained that we were eligible for free new iPhone 16, free Apple Watch and free iPad. We said OK and did that and made the appropriate plan updates to get those. Next bill comes and we are hit with over $500 in bogus charges that took over a week to get sorted out before a refund was issued. Next our bill shows we are being charged monthly payments for all three new devices that total more than $2000. Armando did NOT explain that this would be the case and was clearly only interested in getting us to sign off on a new plan that was clearly fraudulent and false advertising. Do not go to this store unless you want to get lied to and ripped off.

Never received our refund; no credit, no cashier's check (despite confirming our mailing address several times)... NOTHING. This is 3+ months from our transaction. Ridiculous. Incompetence.
I echo the previous reviewer that Irvin (aka NICK) was not professional.

I came in on Sunday afternoon and was helped by Irvin. My phone was fixed quickly and he was very professional. I will only be taking my business to the Ramona location, what a great experience!

Kole helped me with a frustrating issue of my bill. He worked with me over the course of several days, and for an hour on the line with customer service today to ensure my bill was corrected from any errors I was concerned about. He went above and beyond to assist with my satisfaction and happiness. No sales were involved just quality assurance. I truly cannot say enough how impressed I was with his eagerness to help and devotion to good customer service. We was patient and understanding, and was far better at his job then anyone I've encountered thus far. No better rep than Kole! Awesome guy. Thank you for all you help!

I would give zero stars if I could. Irvin was by far the most unhelpful and disrespectful customer service representative I’ve ever encountered. His behavior was dismissive, condescending, and outright rude. I came in seeking help, and instead was mocked and talked down to. Whether he was having a bad day or not, it doesn’t excuse his attitude. Calling a customer 'dude' and ‘bro’ repeatedly instead of using any form of professional communication is unacceptable. His job is to assist customers—not belittle them. If this is how your staff treats people, it reflects extremely poorly on your entire business.
