“Visiting the WH Estates Winery was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere and weather were just perfect. The background music just over the top. The friends that invited us have a membership and we were their guests. The server, was a very pleasant young women, who took very good care of us, coming by often to see if we were ready for our next drink. We also purchased a charcuterie plate that suited us just fine. In addition there was a gentleman selling BBQ sandwiches, which were delicious, and made our afternoon. I cannot over emphasize the importance of having a good hostess. She made us feel at home, and welcomed.”

“What a beautiful venue!! My goodness the place was beautiful inside. Loved the look and the spacious hall area. The manager was a little hectic and neurotic. Sort of off putting but the place is a 10 out of 10!”

“This place is aaaaaaaamazing! We traveled in from out-of-town (out of state) to have our daughter’s 2nd birthday with family and this place was perfect. It’s pretty turn key in the way it’s set up. I brought just a few decorations, but the place is so cute as-is and was able to rent a few optional decor items though the owner too! She was so sweet, easy to work with, and quick to respond. This place is worth every penny. My only wish was that I would have considered renting this location for a tad longer. I sort of had to kick all my guests out so we were out at the end time since everyone wanted to visit with us longer, being that we were visiting from out of state. Again, perfect location! So cute!”

“I want to express how happy we all were with the food, venue and outstanding service we received at our son and daughter in laws wedding. It was so beautifully decorated and all our quests and vendors shared with us that the food, was delicious and the customer service was fantastic. It rained the day of the wedding and how they organized the venue to make us feel comfortable was impressive. We felt no inconvenience from the rain. We highly recommend The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks for receptions or any business or family gatherings. They are very professional and so welling to please and it will be a memorable time that will forever be in our hearts.”

“I've had the privilege of photographing Karina's quinceanera and Nancy and Raul's wedding at Eden Garden's Center and it was one of the most unforgettable experiences! The lush gardens, charming architecture, and event spaces were designed so well that they offered an amazing backdrop for the event. If you're looking for a venue to hold your precious milestones, I highly Eden Gardens Event Center! Here are some shots of Karina's quince and Nancy and Raul's wedding at Eden Gardens Event Center!”

“I am a baseball player and appreciate the quality of field. Need a permit through Carmichael rec & park to use the fields. Also baskets for sorting basketball and playground and soccer fields”

“Parking sucks, pedestrians don't pay attention to cars entering the parking area/loading and unloading zone (kind of on a hill when entering) so when it's dark and rainy it causes a lot of conflict. Staff is nice but teens run around causes trouble some times. Not all of them do this of course, as a mother of teens myself, but when big groups get together they tend to forgetful of how to act in public.”

“I usually get my 25¢ cup of coffee and get occasional $3 lunch here when I get there! Since the CoronaVirus Pandemic started in 2019, the staff had to stop the 25 cent coffee and the dounuts! It's mostly due to keeping all the members healthy and safe from contamination. Can't wait until things get back to somewhat normal again! Greg's retired in 2022 and the Yoga teacher had his April 4, 2022 Birthday (yesterday) some things are getting back to normal, little by little.”

“I love this place! If you are affiliated with the real estate business in any way this is your spot. You have to join. If you're a realtor than you already know. They are an amazing fundraising organization that helps all sorts of charities too.”

“The annual Filipino Fiesta is held every first Sunday of June at the Jose Rizal Community Center (Florin Mall Drive) to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. It's definitely a showcase of Central Valley Filipino-ness, culture and talent! It's run by six Filipino American community organizations and promotes community and youth relations, educating on history, with cultural activities and other festival events. The highlights of the fiesta include a parade, live entertainment, eskrima & arnis tournaments, traditional Filipino food. All ages, free entry, purchases out of pocket. 2022 was the first in-person event since Covid! The Fiesta went from 10am-5pm. When I arrived around 11am, it was pretty packed and I had to parallel park on the side street rather than the main parking lots. Weather was that weird overcast sprinkly light wind which doesn't scream "June" summertime, but for being out on the grassy area it was ok for walking. They had a charity car show/contest (Team LoveHATE and Neu Era), many many vendor booths from sponsors such as SMUD, UC Davis Health, Vaccinate All 58, Kaiser Permanente, Cache Creek, East Lawn, Sac Asian Chamber of Commerce (shout-out to Nikki S.!) giving out free 10-pack N95 masks and up to 3 Covid tests and other fun stalls like QTEA Boba (taro, milk tea, thai tea), a candle shop, a sticker shop, Filipino wares/crafts like island dresses, fun shirts, bracelets, Filipino flags, etc. My fave was the MTPhotos Sac mini photobooth and raffle (shoutout Misty T.!). They had an outdoor stage for music, performers as well as an indoor stage with performances by Sinagtala, tinikling (bamboo traditional folk dance), kung fu demonstration, Zumba, an oldies band, Polynesian dancers. The food trucks were very popular. Official vendors were Hella Halo (halo-halo), Pinorrito, Daisy's Desserts, My Lumpia Lady, Duffy's Hot Dogs, Angry Asian Chef, and Sugarbar. They had some tables and chairs for people to sit and eat too. I saw people eating chicken adobo and rice, lumpia, bbq on a stick, pancit! I picked up a few sweet treats from Ube Galore Breads & More (Bay Area-based) -- ube eggpie and ube cassava to take home...delicious!”

“The BLOC is the perfect venue to host your next event in Roseville! I attended an event there and thought it was so beautiful. Shortly after, my brother unexpectedly passed away and my family decided to plan a Celebration of Life event for him. The BLOC was the first venue I reached out to and was so happy that they were available. Throughout the entire process the BLOC team was incredible to work with having a professional and respectful attitude.

The venue is bright, modern and clean. The main event space is large and can be customized for your event. They offer beautiful long wooden tables, chairs and other furniture items with the rental. The open vendor policy is great so you can bring in all your preferred vendors. The venue also features a cocktail room, getting ready room, prep kitchen and really nice bathrooms.

The day of the event, the BLOC team had everything set up on time following the floor plan I provided. The day-of staff was friendly and available if we had a question or needed anything. The space easily accommodated our 100+ guests, and everyone was commenting how nice it was.

I had to plan this event quickly and the BLOC team made everything so easy. My family is so grateful for the beautiful experience we had. I highly recommend the BLOC for your wedding or event!”

“I had the pleasure of photographing Angie's quinceanera at the Sacramento Town and Country Event Center. The venue perfectly blends modern elegance and sophistication, creating an ideal setting for a joyous celebration. The venue's spaciousness, design, and versatile spaces allowed me to capture every important moment of Angie's quince. Here are some shots from Angie's quince that I took at the Sacramento Town and Country Event Center!”

“Rooms: Got a room for wheelchair handicap people without asking for it. It had a shower design for the handicap which made showering difficult trying to avoid water spilling on the floor. Also, there was no hand soap available, and no vanity mirror.”

“Great experience taking our 8 year old son there with a few friends last weekend for his birthday. Although we did not book a party, they were ok with us bringing a bday treat and stored it in the freezer for us until we were all done racing. The staff was very helpful and kind, facility was super clean and the food was good. We’ll definitely be back! So fun!!”
