***This review is for the 2024 Carvana PPA Tour - The Masters that was held at Mission Hills Country Club only*** My eldest daughter and I were at the Mission Hills Country Club for the 2024 Carvana Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour - The Masters event on Sunday, 01/14/2024. We were shuttled here from the Agua Caliente Resort parking lot since no parking was allowed at the country club for any participants not even the vendors and pros. Check-in was very easy. Overall staff and volunteers at this event were very friendly and pleasant. This country club facilities and huge lawn area were very well maintained. I love that they offer different surfaces for the tennis courts. They have hard, clay, and grass courts. I used to play high school tennis so hard court is the only surface I played on. I would love to play on the other two surfaces or at least watch tennis players play on them live one of these days. They have several really nice dedicated pickleball courts and some shared tennis courts that have the pickleball lines. They even have a large lawn area for croquet that was right next to the championship pickleball court. We came to watch the pro pickleball players play the final championship matches. We had a chance to watch all 5 matches, but only watched 3.5 matches (mixed doubles, men's singles, women's doubles, partial men's doubles). We missed the women's singles. I think they started the matches way too late otherwise we could have caught all of the matches before 3:00 PM, but they didn't end until 5:00 or 6:00 PMish. We had to leave before the latter time. We got a chance to watch amateur pickleball players, too. What a great opportunity for amateurs to play alongside the pros. How cool is that! I'm sure there is an entry fee to play. One of these days, I'll participate in the amateur play. Anyway, there were a good selection of merchandise and various sports related vendors. Pickleball Central was here selling clothing, shoes, and other stuff... since it was the final day of the tournament, all the good stuff were gone... I didn't see anything appealing. As for the food vendor, unfortunately, they had limited food choices. My daughter was hungry, but she didn't care for the wraps so she went with the yogurt parfait... it wan't enough. Lesson learned... we may want to eat before heading into these types of event just in case food options aren't that great at the venue. We were hoping they would have the chicken salad that was at the Carvana PPA Tour - CIBC at San Clemente, but they didn't. There is a club house, but for members only... bummer! There were portable toilet trailers that had cozy restrooms... these are much preferred over the blue portable potties IMHO. Thank you! Overall, we had a great time! We look forward to the next pickleball event in the Palm Springs area. We'll be back!!!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional assistance I received during my recent visit from DEAN, who works in Fitness & Spa. He went above and beyond to help me find a handicap parking space, ensuring that my needs were met with kindness and efficiency. His dedication to customer service made a significant difference in my experience, and I am truly grateful for his exceptional support. Thank you, Dean, for your outstanding service and commitment to making every customer feel valued and cared for. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and are highly appreciated! On the other hand, I regret to share a disappointing experience that I had with the security staff member, DAISY, during my recent visit. Unfortunately, her behavior was unprofessional and rude. Instead of providing assistance or guidance, she exhibited a dismissive and discourteous attitude. Such behavior not only tarnished my impression of the establishment but also left me feeling unwelcome. Customer service is a crucial aspect of any organization, and I hope that future interactions with the security staff can be more positive for others. Constructive feedback is essential for improvement, and I trust that this concern will be addressed to enhance the overall experience for patrons.

Stunning grounds with so much history! The staff here are so kind and knowledgeable, the clubhouse is beautiful, and the grounds are very well-kept. Such a gorgeous oasis in the desert!

Had lunch at the Members Lounge on Sunday May 7th and Tracey was the most pleasant, professional, helpful, charming, and efficient hostess! All the while she was working alone serving approximately 20 guests and never got flustered and not only made drinks but was also responsible for making burgers, pizza, hot dogs and sandwiches. That is one woman that the Resort should never let get away!

Yes we live here so maybe we are partial but the food is great. The servings are generous. The staff is amazing and knows your name, your drink and your favorite foods!

Played golf on the Tournament course There were 4 of us and one was a member. There weren't a lot of people in the course. We were on about hole 15 then all of the sudden two older couple in two separate carts came driving up on us on the fairway complaining that we were playing too slow. We're experienced golfers and we were in a good pace. Not lagging at all. They could have easily asked us to play though hit instead the two older men proceeded to give us a beat down about how to play golf then started quizzing us about being members. Completely uncalled for. Then they skipped ahead of us and continued to play slow. We had to wait for them on the last three holes. This club is a joke. Bunch of grumpy old farts. Never again.

Not a fan of the undisclosed but mandatory $6 service charge at the café. I have no problem paying it if I am aware before I make a purchase but I didn't know about until seeing it on the receipt. The food and service were fine.

If there are golf courses in heaven, they probably look like mission hills cc. If I ever get another chance to play the Palmer I believe I will go really low. Not a difficult track but sheer perfection and beautiful. A practice round would have been a difference maker before the tournament.

This is an older complex. The course could benefit from some TLC. The price was right and the pro staff were great.

Disgusted to see styrofoam cups with your logo on it being used. What an environmental nightmare. What century are you living in. It's 2022 in case you didn't know.
