She took her time with me and explained all my options, trying to save me money. And, although limited, they have some pretty cards that I got to add to my package.”

“This branch is usually excellent. I actually avoid the post office in Del Mar and travel farther to Solana Beach. But recently as the line grew, the only employee working the counter finally rang the bell for more help. A slovenly overweight man appeared to ask if anyone were just picking up mail. Hearing none, he departed. This is SOP for postmasters who NEVER roll up their sleeves to wait on customers. He had apparently directed the only other employee to empty trash and process packages instead of attending to customers. No one would ever run a business this way except the government, in particular, the U. S. Post Office.”

“This is a one-person operation and Lynn has worked here for years. She is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen in the USPS, and she has to contend with a lot of rude, demanding ignoramuses on a daily basis (see some of the other reviews to get an idea). I am an online seller and packages mailed from this office get scanned into the system within minutes. This is not true of the Encinitas main office where scans frequently do not happen at all (making sellers/shippers look lazy and dishonest). I have had a PO Box in this office since 2019 and I have never had anything but excellent service here, with the box and at the counter. Treat people with respect and they will respond in kind.”
“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”

“Such a wonderful Post Office. It's typically not very busy, which has been great. Tons of parking. Perhaps I've just caught them on good times, not sure. Everything is neat and organized, and the staff have been friendly and helpful. Much more preferred over the one that's a few miles away from this one!”
“The service was very friendly, and the workers were very helpful. I would leave a little extra time because there are a lot of old-timers that come in and like to chitchat with the staff, which is charming, but when there is only one postal clerk available, I can take a few more extra minutes. On the other hand, when your time comes, they will take extra time to help you out.”
“I recently had a great experience here at the Post Office with Myra who was super helpful and supportive. An important package had not arrived to my home, so I came in to get some help. Myra took the time to look up my tracking number, call around to nearby post offices, follow-up before she left the office for the day, and gave me a call the next morning saying the package had been found and would I like to pick it up or have it delivered in my mailbox the same day. I know sometimes a post office can get a bad wrap, but I received above and beyond excellent service, and I think it’s important to recognize that. Thanks Myra!”
“This is an excellent post office. The employees here do their best dealing with a lot of customers and handling issues the best they can. It is not their fault that other people have issues they can’t control or fix. I love coming here to mail my packages and I know a lot of other people here do as well. I feel bad, they receive a lot of bogus complaints. A perfect example would be the one below me. What exactly is your complaint? You mentioned what he did to somebody else and your reasoning lacks anything factual or relevant. Put yourself in these people shoes and stop trying to dehumanize people who deal with the public.Keep up the great work Jeffrey, Kaila, Kiara and Lee!”

“Like most Military bases this base has a Post Office (staffed by civilians but mostly military personal) and is only accessible to those who have base privileges. No need to give it 1 star because you can’t access it. The staff is very kind and professional. I like to go to this location because it is clean, good parking and even when busy they move the line along quickly.”
“So I ran into a lost package in Georgia, almost a week later somehow arrived at my local USPS location, and was grateful I got ahold of Weston, who went above and beyond to find my package (correct a problem the shipper made when writing the label). Let me just say, as stressed I was over this, Weston was so calm, positive, reassured me they had it, and located it in a few minutes. Every other time I've had package trouble at any shipping company I've had problems with have never been so pleasant let alone USPS. I promised I'd leave a 5 star review. Weston, you made my day. Thank you!”

“OK people, one more time. The RB customer service USPS location is NOT in this building. This is primarily a processing center with a drive-through mail drop for the convenience of people who don't want to get out of the car. The USPS customer service office is two blocks down the street to the south at Bernardo Center and Lomica Dr. So, please stop going to the wrong place and then trashing USPS workers for not being able to help you.And, BTW, if you don't like the USPS, try mailing something anywhere else. Only Vatican City has a better postal service - but they don't have to do door-to-door delivery for over 300 million people spread over an entire continent. Our postal workers are great folks working habitually short-staffed, so show some respect.”
“Randy saw me looking at package sizes, obviously confused, and called me over to help walk me through the self service kiosk. I didn't realize how easy sending packages was, but after his help I feel like I could come back and do it myself easily next time. “I came to this post office for the passport fair on 03/02/2024. Everything was very organized which made it a pleasant experience. The post master was very attentive and made sure every customer was taken care of. I would definitely recommend this post office.”
