“Such a fantastic thrift store!! Lots of fun and cool items! The jackpot is their women's clothing section! High end items for $5-10! They didn't have a large selection of bags or kids items though.”

“This is a wonderful store, run by lovely and friendly people who care about their community. This store helps support the MUCHLY needed foster care system in our county, and the amazing people who are kind enough to help children in need. As well, there are a LOT of hidden gems here, and the prices are very reasonable.”

“This thrift store is a hidden gem. Everyone who works there is so kind and genuine. They carefully sort through items and clearly label everything. There are also amazing sales (50% off entire store) that happen quite frequently. Thank you to everyone who works at ReRuns!!”

“This is a small thrift store in the heart of Del Mar with volunteers who are friendly and customer-focused. It's well organized. Selections are limited, but I always seem to find something when I visit. Yesterday, it was a festive martini glass for $2 to replace one that broke a few years ago that was part of a set. Parking is in the Church lot, so make sure to get a 1-hour permit from one of the volunteers. There's a 20% discount on Tuesdays for Seniors 55+ and Military.”

“A small quaint thrift store, clean and organized but not orderly, a little bit of everything for everyone, know what you're shopping for and your trip will be productive, lots of China sets, furniture and women's clothing, not much for kids or men, but hidden gems can still be found, friendly staff makes this a worthwhile stop.”

“G'mach aka "The Jewish Gift Closet" is such a wonderful place.. The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”

“I just bought an amazing leather couch from this store. The price was too good to pass up! The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. They even offer delivery within Escondido! I will definitely be going here again.”

“Really nice thrift store with lovely and friendly employees. Found a Bob Mackie wearable art vest for $30- great condition and clean and no dangling threads. Their boutique is quite well stocked. They don’t sell items with holes or too much wear. They had a black J Crew cashmere sweater for $20 but the vest was in better condition.”

“I've only been 3 times and each time is better. They donate to three wonderful local charities that support at-risk youth, survivors of human trafficking, and homeless shelters. Their prices are affordable (as it should be) which is rare nowadays for thrifts shops. I'll will start donating here too, especially since my fave hometown thrift shop only had limited hours. More options to donate. Very sweet volunteers and friendly owner.”

“Thrifty Threads has a lot of high quality items for fair prices. I love regularly visiting this location just to see the surprisingly eclectic selection for such a small location. Some things I enjoy about this location:-They have a wide selection, they especially have a lot of flannels and Hawaiian shirts-For being such a small location, they really do have a bit of everything. I've even seen some nice jackets, pants, shoes, and hats-The store is well organizedSome of the problems I've faced at this location:-In terms of their T-shirts/graphic tees I'm pretty sure a good portion of them are whole sale-The prices make sense for Encinitas, but I've seen some flannels, Hawaiian shirts, and jackets in there that at Goodwill or Salvation Army will cost you half what they chargeOverall 4.5/5”

“This is one of those Goodwill stores that's mostly a bookstore. They do sell some other items like clothes, accessories, and knick knacks, but just a few select items and priced higher. Book selection is decent and well organized.”

“We've been going here sporadically over a decade. They have really good options for thrifting, for all ages and sizes. The operating hours vary but it's definitely worth looking into.”

“Amazing stuff, Amazing Prices, and I LOVE the employees. They deserve chairs for how long the lines get and two snack breaks because of how stressful it is in there. I am a returning customer consistently. Employees do an amazing job of keeping it clean and as organized as they can. We are grateful!! Thank you!”

“Absolute hidden gem on the second floor exterior of the shopping center. Very well curated, organized, and clean streetwear, sportswear, trucker/biker jackets, tees. Family owned and run. Apparently, inventory turnover is super quick, so will definitely be back in the future.”

“This review is only for the donation center, as I did not go inside of the store. How cool to have a drive - thru donation center! You pull up and a person comes with a large cart to collect all of your items you want to donate! It was fast and such an easy process! I was in and out in seconds! They also seem to take almost everything. If you don't have a lot of time to spare this drive thru donation center is the way to go!”

“We came here at around 1pm on a weekday. The gentleman working was very nice and quick to collect our donation bag. Be sure to ask for your donation receipt before leaving.* Inputting the address (5620 Paseo Del Norte) into Google Maps took us to the south part of the parking lot. The donation trailer is on the north part of the parking lot, across from Bob Baker Chrysler dealership. You can’t miss the trailer.”

“AMAZING STORE! The lady who works there is SO sweet, the few times i’ve gone she’s been so kind and patient as i ask for the dressing room like 4 times. They seem so have minimal staffing so if it takes a while to help you out at the register or get a room opened this is why! The clothing isn’t exactly sorted by size but rather by type of clothing. The prices are also a tad higher than i would like, but most thrift stores have been doing this so you can’t really isolate a single thrift store for this. Also considering it’s in carlsbad, it makes ir more reasonable. They also sell relatively cheap house plants/propagations which i LOVE! Overall, i love this place and consider it a little hidden gem where i can spend some time for myself :)”

“Dropped by with my son's girlfriend yesterday for the first time. It is a lovely, well-organized shop with friendly staff. I read other reviews about high prices, but this shop is in line with the prices elsewhere. Clothing was half price and they had lovely items, but I no longer buy without trying clothing on. Alas, they have no change room probably because of the huge problem with theft facing all thrift stores. This shop carries housewares, sewing and knitting items, some furniture, clothing, handbags, jewelry, books and more. Worth the time to stop by. Better than expected.”

“Beautiful shop, but too pricey for me. Used puzzles at $5.00. No guarantee they are complete. I'd rather buy new with a guarantee at that price. They did have great puzzles. They are obviously not flying off the shelves at that price point.”

“Lovely little store! Had a surprising variety of clothes sizes and styles for the size of the store, better prices than Goodwill, and every Tuesday they apparently give out random discounts for every purchase like a raffle- I got 25% off everything! Great to know it’s giving back to the community too, I’ll definitely come again!”

“Employees are helpful and kind. Paulina consistently is kind, patient and efficient. Today she had two of the rudest, disrespectful women I've seen and she handled it with grace, patience and respect in spite of their horrible behavior. It's a pleasure to go to that store as the employees make it a pleasant place to be.I hope the Salvation Army has a means to recognize exceptional employees like Paulina. This store shines because of its employees.”

“Clean, well organized Goodwill with a nice layout. The items here are in better condition than I normally see in a Goodwill. There's also a decent selection of movies and video games, too. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a Marshall's rather than a Goodwill!”

“Amazing items for fabulous prices. You must check this place out if you're interested in having the best style on a budget!! Everyone working is so kind, and they always play the best music! The selection of items is like no other consignment/thrift store out there ... I've been to them all You can find designer and other trendy brands as well as some vintage!”
