“I visited this Lowe's for the first time. I received a notice that Lowe's was currently offering FREE Valspar Paint Samples to their rewards members until 8/20 and I took this as an opportunity to try Lowe's out.

I've been used to shopping at Home Depot, but not as much at Lowe's.

After I picked out my color, Berry Brown 1010-7, I let the clerk know what I came in looking for.

I looked down at her name tag and saw that it said Michelle. Ooo Michelle really is a gem!

She had a spunky personality, so friendly and smiling and also hard-working and attentive to her customers. There was a guy before me and then 2 other parties came after me. During my 5-minute wait for my paint, she kept making sure to finish as fast as she could. She even hand mixed my paint. She explained to me what I was getting, what would work best for my project and she even told me where I can find some cool new nail polish art!

My check out process was easy and I ended up getting a color I really like!!! It looks much pinker than the sample card, but I'm not complaining, I actually like it!!

“Went to Lowe's lookng for weed killer. Fpund great deal on 1 gallon Spectracide for $6 - the normal price for their quart size spray bottle. Was looking for something to kill Kahki, a South American weed that priduces stickers that get in the dogs fur. Deal is good until june 2nd 2026 or so.”

“Lots of stuff. Burger King was trying to kill me! Luckily McDonald came to help me. Carl Jr came with throwing stars. It was a three way battle. What happened next you ask? Burger kill got wounded with a 50 caliber. McDonald had a gun! Great selection and okay staff. Found guy selling strawberries in parking lot.”

“Home Depot on Lake Forest has a wide selection of items to choose from. They provide items for low budget projects with the option of buying higher quality items which adds longevity to the project.
They offer a myriad of discounts for contractors, military and credit card holders.
The store is generally neat without a lot of products blocking the aisles. There are an ample number of associates to provide direction and answer questions about the location of products.
Returns are completed quickly and efficiently. I have found that sometimes it's better to purchase extra items so you have options to complete your project without making multiple trips. This has saved time and gas because you can return the excess material on your next project.
Update: local store for DIY projects. Selection is good and on-line products are robust.”

His follow-up was exceptional as well. Even when we couldn't make a couple of the appointments, he remained patient, continued following up, and kept providing us with additional options. He never gave up on helping us, and his persistence always felt genuine rather than sales-driven.
