“I had issues with an Airbnb in town and it was late and I really needed a room for Me and my son and the owner was very nice and knew I had had a long day, the owner and a nice staff member named GN helped me, it was such a relief to go lay down in a nice motel after a long hard day!”
“Nice property. Currently undergoing a remodel. Nice friendly helpful staff. Close to shopping and resturants in the Hilltop area of Redding.
Stay here often on my trips to and from Oregon. Highly recommended.

“Wife and I have stayed here a few times always nice clean rooms, welcoming drink in the bar, and full breakfast. We always stay here on our back and forth from Washington to Los Angeles.”
“Rooms are spotless but mine lacked a microwave ?. Staff was cool. Pool and spa were well kept. Parking is safe and plentiful. The attached independent restaurant/bar sells me on staying here. They serve to notch food and drinks by day and night....but lower the quality for the hotel in the morning. Your stay comes with a complimentary breakfast buffet that is better than any hotel I have ever been to and sadly better than most restaurants.”
“A great place for an extended stay. All of the staff are incredible and make the stay very well worth it. Breakfast is great and choices are good. Love that they are renovating the rooms now. Can’t wait to be back. Would highly recommend this location! Devan is one of the best, if not the best, associate ever!”
“I’d recommend this place! It’s super close to I-5, which makes it a breeze to hop on and off the freeway when you’re on a road trip. We had a 2 queen bed suite with a sofa and two TVs. The room was clean, and the beds were comfy.
The breakfast was good—a quick buffet style, and the service was even better. Robin was the sweetest and most accommodating breakfast person ever! Thanks Robin!”
“Hotel was located on the north end of Redding, with convenient freeway access. Front desk staff, breakfast room employee and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Recognized at check-in as Choice Hotel member. Our third floor room was fairly quiet, and convenient to elevator. Room was clean, with plenty of hot water and towels. We couldn’t get AC adjusted just right, being too cool, or a little warm, but felt it was our operating error, and not a problem with the unit. Breakfast was good, with waffles, bacon, potatoes, and a mini omelette. Saw yogurt, cereal, bagels, bread, muffins, and a good assortment of juices. No restaurants, or minimarts that were walkable, but they were a short drive away. Overall, a good hotel that we would return to again.”

muffins were great. Lotta options. Cafe machine was broken though didn’t work. Gym was nice, got a nice pump. Staff is cool.”
“A clean and quiet motel. Check in was friendly and easy. The room is clean and modern. The entry and bath doors can conflict when opened and the clearance between the bed and fridge area is narrow. Otherwise a clean and safe stop when traveling.”

This place still looks the same, not sure if that's good or bad. I cannot comment about the current service. This was the first place we stayed at when me & my family first came to Redding in 1994. We stayed at the Shasta Lodge for about a month. I was 12 years old, I used to walk all over Downtown Redding looking for new friends and something to do. No complaints about this place from what I remember. I no longer live in Redding, this place brings back a lot of good memories.”

“We got a room here last minute for a quick pit stop on our way elsewhere.
I was super impressed when we walked in, it smelled so good, and was super clean!
I had no clue there was an onsite restaurant so that was a nice surprise however, we didn’t dine there cause we had plans already.
I really appreciated the snack bar in the lobby since my boys are hungry all the time it was convenient for a post dinner snack.
The room was clean and the pillows were SO comfy I wanted to take them home.
ALEX! The front desk host who checked us in and had to deal with a whole lot of things that night. He was amazing. Kept cool under pressure. So friendly. So helpful. He’s the reason I’m even writing this review cause I need him to know he was the highlight of my stay.
Anyway. It’s a great place for a quick stay!”
“More than happy with my stay. Place is clean, staff was nice, my room was very nice and the beds are comfortable. The location is ideal for someone passing through like myself. Close to restaurants for example In N Out Burger is right across the street. Will stay here again real soon.”

“We stayed at this hotel right before Christmas and it was well decorated and very cozy with the fireplace in the lobby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was comfortable, reasonably priced and the wait-staff was attentive. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. This hotel was a great bang for your buck! I would highly recommend staying there.”
“Perfect lodge to stay while traveling. Nothing special, but very clean, the bed was comfortable , WiFi worked great and fairly priced. Sunny at reception made me feel very welcomed. I will be back.”

“Due to the McKinley fire all the hotel's we're booked. Another hotel suggested Sundial Lodge. When I looked at the building I was expecting an old property. I was pleasantly surprised that other than being small it was very nice. Not a bad stay.”
“All the ladies that work there are so great! On our first stay, Denise and Monique were wonderful…so friendly and helpful! Melissa was also the same on our second trip. Ashley was great on the phone and Kaitlin too! It was such a pleasure to stay there and be given such great service and friendly attitudes!”
“Great stay, I was able to get lots of rest and peace and quiet. Not even housekeeper disturbed me thankfully because I have odd hour of sleep. Big comfy beds AC, and nobody bothered me. I love it here ?”

“You know , this motel six is very different than the other motel six establishments
They go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay there.And if something is missing or if you enjoy something they will make sure you have it , whether it's extra towel or glass of hot water at three in the morning , you just ask them and they will pick up the phone and talk with you , they won't avoid you like some of the bigger hotels
And everyone is so friendly.You think that they were in georgia instead of Redding,California

“Now some people may think I'm crazy to give Motel6 5 stars but if you ask me they are the crazy ones paying $2-300 for a room with a bed in it.....Luxury is overpriced Idiocracy for rich people. I did exactly what they do relaxed watched some tv fell asleep had pleasant dreams woke up then left.... however my room cost $62 total”
