Red Roof Inn Redding is a budget motel offering great value for the money in a convenient location. It is situated right in the middle of town, providing quick access to streets while being tucked on a hill so little to no street noise enters the rooms. It is across the street from a large grocery store and adjacent to two restaurants, and is pretty conveniently located to the Civic center and shopping. The rooms are described as clean, neat and tidy with all facilities, comfortable, and cleanly maintained. The beds are nice and very comfy after a long day on the road, and the AC is amazing. The staff behind the counter are nice, with the front desk guy being amazingly helpful, and check-in is quick and easy. There is no breakfast at all. The property is very safely placed. Some guests have reported issues with overcharges and billing disputes, which were addressed by Guest Relations. There is also a reported rule about not renting to local residents within a 75-mile radius.
