About Shasta Lodge
Shasta Lodge is a place with a long history in Redding, dating back to 1994 when it first served as a family stay. Over the years, it has changed from a motel to a clean and sober living program called New Life Discovery. The facility offers shared rooms with amenities like a small refrigerator, cable TV, and a workout area. Located next to Downtown Redding and the main transportation hub, it is convenient for residents. While some feel the place is a little dated and in need of better room conditions, it has been helpful for transitional housing and supporting individuals, including those with disabilities or experiencing homelessness. Overall, it remains a meaningful location with positive past memories and current support services.
The shasta lodge is now a wonderful sober living environment for the new life discovery project 😀 🙌

A little dated but great use for transitional housing. Rooms could be in better condition, location is right next to the Downtown businesses and RABA major transportation hub.
