Wow, I’m surprised to see such poor reviews. Maybe this store has hired new people since then. On 12/31/25, I had a pretty bad experience at my former carrier, AT&T. After the holiday, I went to shop for a different one and needed a new phone. After being in several, one where I wasn’t even acknowledged for 10 minutes (no “hi”, “we’ll be right with you” nor eye contact); I appreciate that Spectrum has a self check-in so you’re not waiting on someone and can get in line. You’re going to wait at any store. Eric, who helped me was amazing and remembered my name when I returned to make my purchase. And from what I could tell, all the employees seemed pleasant, helpful and professional. No “smoke breaks” that I could see. I was completely satisfied when I left and oh, by the way, I’m saving $70/month for the first year. I gave 4 stars because perfection would be not waiting at all.

A lot of people just come in to drop off equipment, which should only take a couple minutes but because they have to wait for people who are shopping for phones and taking care of other matters you can get stuck in line for almost an hour.
The employees here also have zero empathy about the wait times either and snicker when people leave after seeing how long they would have to wait.
People enjoy Charters services but this store model needs a overhaul and to there probably needs to be some staffing changes seeing the reviews here..

I have told spectrum to leave me a lone many times and I keep having man come to my door asking me to join Spectrum and when I ask them to leave they won’t leave unless I shut the door. Also getting junk mail from them almost every day. This is getting very frustrating and I would not recommend this service to anyone. FYI they will keep bothering you to buy their service. That is one of the reasons I will not go with their service. There are other better stores that have a better deal than Spectrum.

Not really sure why this store exists. We had an appointment to pick up equipment for new service. While waiting there were 3 employees and 2 other customers. 2 employees took multiple smoke brakes out front in the span of 20 minutes without helping anyone. The place is set up like the DMV, but I'm pretty sure DMV is more efficient. I ended up calling corporate while being ignored at the store. I got quick service from someone who was happy to help. The person on the phone actually told me the store likely would not have my equipment, so I would have waited for nothing. Close this down and cut the dead weight. Pass on the savings to subscribers. These employees can stay home and smoke all they want on their own dime.

Price gouge! We are being charged 90.00 per month for basic internet. 30.00 per month for two cable boxes, 40.00 for landline and 90 for cable. Total monthly bill is 254.00! Outrageous looking around for different service. Each year prices keep moving up up up. Greedy company!

Thank you Kaleb. Had to get a new phone, Kaleb was friendly, knew the products, and services. Very helpful with all questions I had. Kaleb was very capable in not only getting the new phone he also helped another customer while my phone was transferring data from old phone to new phone. Kaleb is a great asset to Spectrum. Customer friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you again Kaleb.

We went to the Spectrum store tonight to add my boyfriend to my phone plan, and it turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The employee who helped us, Kaleb, was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line. I just very recently had a baby, and the way he treated me was appalling. From the moment I handed him my ID, he gave me a dirty look and acted like helping us was a chore.
He cursed, spoke to me disrespectfully, and even bragged about his pretty Asian girlfriend. Right in front of me, he showed my boyfriend a provocative picture of her while we were trying to take care of our account. Who does that at work? At one point, while I was speaking, he looked at my boyfriend and said, “Did you hear that, did you hear something?” as if I was invisible. It was humiliating, and I wanted to cry.
He also removed the promotion I was on, leaving me with a higher bill than expected. The extra line that was supposed to be 30 dollars ended up being 40, and when I asked about it, he brushed me off like I did not matter. The two managers sat in the back doing nothing while this all happened. How do you allow that kind of behavior in your store to go unchecked?
Kaleb, if you ever read this, it is highly inappropriate to show customers pictures of your girlfriend like that and honestly NOBODY CARES. I would be furious if my man was showing half-naked pictures of me at work. Have some respect for women and for yourself. Stop being a misogynistic, narcissistic jerk and grow up. I learned everything I needed to know about you in less than five minutes, and none of it was good.
This was the final straw for me. I have been a loyal Spectrum customer for years, but that ends now. We will be canceling our phone, internet, and TV services immediately. The Redding location completely lost my trust. I will be informing my entire network of family, friends, and colleagues about how this company allows customers to be treated. Spectrum should be ashamed to have employees like this representing them.
That entire store needs to be cleaned out, retrained, and rebuilt from the ground up if they ever want to regain any customer trust. I will never go back.

I have had it with this company we went to Redding to return our equipment because we got tired of spectrum constantly raising there prices on us and the guys treats my mom like garbage your not gonna like the new Internet you got ours is the best and just talking to her like she was garbage And it’s obviously companywide because I have called plenty of time to ask why you raised the price agin is there any cheaper internet no that’s are best price every couple months, they’ve raised the price and I have called The funny thing is when we called to cancel. The guy tells us oh well I can give it to you for $40 too bad at this point it’s not about the money. It’s your shady company and disrespectful employees and of course you can give it to us for $40. That’s the point why we canceled you asked the customer who is paid every single time on time. good luck to you.
