“UPDATE 6-15-2026-after reaching out to Dick’s Sporting Goods through the chat icon, I received the help that I felt I should have gotten from the very beginning. I was informed that I could return the bottle which I did this evening no problem. It was just a training issue because the two gentleman that helped me didn’t even question the return and said it was absolutely returnable so I upgraded to a metal water bottle Which kept ice all evening and overnight with minimal melting. ..ORIGINAL POST-I purchased a very expensive $50 yeti water bottle here that did not keep ice very long and water was warm by the end of the day. I picked out the yeti 40 ounce silo which claimed it was made with the same material as the metal water bottles leading me to believe it was the same quality. This was just for inside the home use not even outdoors. The next day, I returned to Dick‘s sporting goods with the bottle and wanted to pay the difference to upgrade to one that worked and they said they couldn’t allow that as the product was not defective. Either way they agreed the product wasn’t worthy of the price but refused to help fix the problem even when I offered to pay more for a better one. I have honestly gotten better water bottles than this at Walmart for $9.99. This is a huge contributing factor to the decline of brick and mortar stores because if I had purchased this online, the problem would have been fixed instantly.”
