The workers were nice but the computer system crashed and I was surprised that corporate didn’t have some sort of paper system back up. If the computers didn’t come back on, we would’ve never gotten our U-Haul and that would have been devastating financially and for our move. We waited for over 2 hours until we were finally able to check out. We had to oay our helpers extra to wait for us. Very frustrating and felt bad for the employees.

The owner is awesome. I was there early on a Saturday morning needing to tow a vehicle back to arcata. Everyone was trying to start what would be a very hot day early so there was a line when I showed up. He was quickly and calmly getting everyone taken care of. He initially did not have what I needed but made a partial reservation and talked me through several options.
I was off working on alternatives and well past when I was supposed to check back with him. I got a call and he had identified a vehicle for me. When the morning had slowed down, he was double-checking vehicles that had been taken out of service for maintenance and found one that only had a minor issue that he quickly fixed.
While I was there picking up the vehicle, he and his staff solved two more situations by talking through options and not giving up. All in all a great team.

I needed a 5x9 trailer today. There are three out front and they are labeled “One way/In Town” and then I’m told I can’t rent one because they’re only for one-way because they don’t make the location any money. Ive rented from this location before with no problem. The clerk also said I would have to go up the interstate to rent from a franchise location.

If you have a three or four bedroom house get a bigger truck even a three bedroom house and require a 26 foot truck remember this! And you should get one that you can have for two days pick it up before 5 o’clock not any earlier because they expect you to return it the same time you picked it up the next day so if you pick it up close to 5 o’clock you get time to get that thing back there! We rented and had to actually physically go in there to get the extra day because they don’t offer that online and we picked up our U-Haul at noon we had to have it back at noon the second day we brought it back and I would’ve liked to have that privilege to have it there before the store closed! It is to your benefit! To get it extremely early in the morning or extremely later in the afternoon

So called this morning for a simple issue and some questions. The idiot on the phone was rude and wouldn't give me his managers name. I called back and his name is Scott apparently. I had to call the 800 to make a complaint and did so while on hold. Still on hold for the manager it's been almost 3 hours. Great idea just waste a customer's day and be a jerk. Here is my phone Pic a few minutes ago as proof. Call the number if you doubt.

Don’t normally post reviews, but my last experience with this location left me not wanting to use them again. Spent over 25 mins waiting for someone to come to the front to help the line of customers that had formed. Did find one employee at the back that told me, “don’t care” and walked away. Someone finally came to the front and assisted the line of customers. I’m extremely reluctant to use this location going forward.

Worst place ever. Do not go to this location. We reserved a trailer 6 days in advance, as we are moving. Went to go pick-up the trailer and they said sorry we don't have it. But you can drive to Red Bluff they have one. What is the point of a reservation. They couldn't call us to tell us this. Such poor customer service. Never again!!

I never knew U-Haul had a motorcycle trailer. I will always use this trailer from now on. It made loading and hauling big Goldwing a piece of cake.

Employees very friendly and knowledgeable . Fast at doing their job however was a wait due to short staffing and propane refills takes them outside

I had checked their inventory online looking for a tow dolly, it said they had 2 available for a one way trip. I go in person to rent said toe dolly and the employee said they didn't have any to rent because they were all "reserved". Being desperate we called customer support asking for help and we informed them what the employee had told us. The wonderful person ok the support line said that the uhaul did indeed have 2 tow dollys without reservations. But by that time we had driven 30 mins to the nearest uhaul and got a 6' x 12' flat tow. Moral of the story is this uhaul honestly is no good. ?

Wish I could give a -0. After sitting at the counter for probably about 20 minutes, and when he did come inside the office, he didn’t even ask if I needed help. I had to let him know that I was there and needed assistance. Very very rude, unprofessional, overcharged my card. Just all in all in ugly experience!!

I had an amazing experience! I have never rented anything of any kind, but UHAUL made everything AMAZINGLY SIMPLE! I had to relocate for a job opportunity and for the chance to start a new life in a new area. I rented the biggest truck they had. It was a brand new truck from what I could tell. It had low mileage and it ran great. It was a 200 mile trip, and that truck kept me comfortable the entire way. Returning the truck was SUPER EASY, I just dropped it off to the lot attendant guy. I will always choose UHAUL!
