I took an inexpensive Lakland 55-01 and installed Nordstrand 3 band preamp, Big Split neck pickup and Big Rig bridge pickup with toggle switch. Sounds amazing with all kinds of tone options!! Nordstrand is the bomb!!!

Thank you for the great product. MM4.2 recreates the early vintage sound of stingray bass. It's a bass-like sound with a thick, thick edge.

Great people to work with and amazing sounding preamp paired with my custom wound pickups on a mesquite topped pecan body and 4 string bass mesquite neck. My first bass, #35 project.
