I haven't used Chase bank on a personal level in years. I recently went to open a business account to put a generous amount of money in for my business. They seem to have zero knowledge of how to help people and potentially under-staffed. I asked if they needed some specific info and they told me no, only to hold up things another 2 weeks to come back and request the information I originally inquired about. It seems nobody here is equipped to handle business. I'm not impressed and will avoid using Chase if at all possible.

Chase in the Riviera Village is the best! They provide personalized service and follow through every time. I met Abe there years ago and he is still my go-to guy. I also got some papers notarized there years ago as it is a free service for in-house customers.

I have had a Chase visa for a number of years but I am canceling and will never do business with them again. Three days before I was to leave on a month-long trip to Europe, they arbitrarily sent out a new card even though mine doesn't expire for 26 months, rendering my current card inactive. I called, advised I had never received that card and they said they would rush another one. It was promised to come the morning before my trip and it never arrived. I called and asked for a supervisor who told me the only thing she could do would be send a card to a hotel. Because I will be traveling around and she could not guarantee the day the card would arrive, that was not an option. She told me it was the only option, apologized for the inconvenience and hung up on me! This is totally unacceptable behavior all around.

Chase bank has been a good financial institution for me and I've had an account there and received great service. This location is in an older building which gives it character and also has safe deposit boxes here. I'm told they aren't opening new boxes however so if you do have one here, think about keeping it unless you absolutely need to change locations. They have plenty of free public parking and it's in a nice location of the Hollywood Riviera. Do your banking and then dine or shop at Trader Joe's nearby. :D

Just went to the chase branch by the beach (1600 S Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach, CA ) and had a great banking experience. I called in ahead of time and spoke with a gentleman who was very personable and knowledgeable and then I came into the branch and spoke with Kayla who also was very personable and she rendered wonderful service as well. I'd recommend this branch for banking to anyone

Redondo Hollywood Riviera location has gone down hill. Erica needs customer service and sensitivity training, really preferred Amaya (??hope spelling name right?). Erica style and cold touch doesn't work for long time clients. Unfortunately nothing to compare to since rest of branch closed. Separate note, needed to call chase business customer service and was on hold for 3 HOURS. There was no choice as with covid needed to use card to online purchase and pay business items. There was a hold on card for "suspicious activity"--we reported nothing as our card has been with us and no issues on our end. Again hassle factor, not sure if worth headache and huge waste of time

I have been banking at this Chase Bank for over 20 years now and it remains to be the best branch in the South Bay in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly here and they take the time to get to know their clients. I had a particularly great meeting this past weekend with Abe to open new business checking and savings accounts. Abe made the transition from an existing business account to a new one so smooth and even helped me link up all my phone apps to the new account....and helped me beyond measure. He drives a long commute every day to work at this branch and they are lucky to have him. I remain a loyal Chase Bank client and you guys are the best!

I've been banking here for a couple of years. Twice I caused myself some problems with bad planning, but as soon as I spoke with a banker there, they handled my issue and were really nice about it. This week Sadie B. was my angel. She knew how to solve my problem, git the right people involved to help me, followed up on the outcome and contacted me about it. Thank you, Sadie B.

Waiting for a customer service rep for 25 minutes so far. It's Saturday when working people need to come in so please get more customer service reps on Saturday as my time is important too......

I was here Saturday Dec 2nd,2017 at 12:45pm. I was making a deposit into the ATM in the front lobby when the machine ate all my cash and my check. The ATM wouldn't stop binging at me until Beverly Echeverria one of the relationship bankers came out. Beverly told me that the ATM was SUPPOSED to be fixed...but told me it was having problems with deposits. I asked her if they knew the machine was not accepting deposits, why did they not have a sign out there? Anyway, she took me inside and gave me a claim # and told me hopefully my money will be on my account within 12-48hours!! I told her that this was unacceptable and that I was very upset! Beverly then asked me a bunch of PERSONAL questions as she raised her voice at me. Saying " why do you need the money so fast anyway?!" and then I explained to her I had to pay rent. I also explained that if i didn't have my rent in on time I would be changed a late fee. She then asked me How I pay for my rent, and then asked me why I was depositing the money I needed for rent. How dare she attack me in such an immature, unprofessional way! I am very upset with how I was treated at this branch by Beverly and with how she handled the situation.It was COMPLETELY unprofessional and inappropriate of her to ask me these questions and raise her voice at me; especially since i have been a member with Chase for so long. If you are going to be working with people and be a "relationship banker" you need to know how to handle and deal with clients of all kinds.Unfortunately, Beverley does not know how to do that. I will be closing ALL my accounts with Chase.
