This post office and it’s employees should be investigated. Terrible service and arrogance on all levels of management I exoerienced is a lesser problem. I spoke to a lady who got herself into a problem because the post office did not deliver her tax returns she sent via registered mail. When she came to complain, one employee told her not to “because somebody could lose his job”. That were the words of post office employee. Moreover a friend of mine was mailed his greencard and it was lost. After he reaplied, he was sent a replacement and it was lost again! After I learned about a post office employee in Carson sentenced for stealing credit cards, I have a strong suspicion, that my friend’s greencard were stolen by employees of this post office. And frankly, I don’t even know what is worse, a post office so grossly misšanaged that loses important document twice, or the one that commits theft.

The postal service employee I spoke with was fine, and did the best she could to address my complaint. However, the 30-minute wait time on the phone before I got to speak with anyone is totally unacceptable. Incidentally, my complaint was about the large cluster of security mailboxes in our condo building that were left unlocked and wide open by the postal carrier earlier today. Since I was on hold for so long, by the time I got to speak with anyone, our local post office had closed, and it was now too late for anyone to come out and lock the mailboxes. (Which will now be left unlocked and vulnerable to theft until the carrier comes tomorrow.) 🙄

Hello Mr Dejoy,
I live in Hermosa Beach and have a Po box there. I went from all the way Anaheim out of my vacation island with two dogs in my car to pickup a package.
As I arrived the package was not there and got told to go to another location in Redondo Beach and I should ask for the postmaster or supervisor said .As I was in line I got to the front and ask for the postmaster as it got told from s he isn't there. Than I ask for the supervisor It got said no he is in a meeting. As another employee took me to see where the package is she said it must be in the Hb .
I asked to talk to a supervisor again the employee d stepped back with her phone and thought ok she called the supervisor but she called the police on me.
As I realized that she misuse the authority of the police I called the police as well. That's she called the police on me to speak to a supervisor. When police arrived there was very surprised that's a calm lady telling the truth and the employee just called a police to avoid that I speak to a supervisor.
If not enough of that the police took an investigation to track my package and said seems someone put it in the outgoing mail again in Hermosa Beach. The police suggested to go there back and asked if the package came back .
The officer told me there gonna be no action against me and I am free to go and appolezise with a very seriose faces of astonishing.
I checked on my dogs and so far by this whole action against me.
I drove again to my post office and asked if the package came back.
As the employee bwas on her phone with the other employee D .
B told me I would get canceled my PoBox and I have to deal with the postmaster.
I told her I didn't done anything exact what she told me. She said she knows me.I did not answer I am almost 47 and she tells me she knows me?
I got only that's my package coming later or so...I am than back to my local police department and told them the whole story as they sent me to the police in redondo beach and they took everything down. And was very strange about not only the whole thing but find I should file a claim when my Pobox get canceled
After all the Manager Brain said sorry and we was in a friendly manner over the service..

The old lady acted really differently towards us compared to the white family in front of us. She made snarky remarks, and it got so bad that she even called me dumb in front of my family. We were out of there before we even got our passports, mind you I'm only 17 and she’s how old??

Better luck next time on your drug search scumbags came up empty handed on this one! If you open a package make sure the dopes in there tampering with mail is still a federal law to federal employees

I can see why this location averages 2 stars. If you're just dropping mail in a box, it won't matter but if you need to speak to someone, I'd try somewhere else if possible.

I ordered something from France, but the sender not only wrote everything in French, but also got the address wrong! The mail couldn't be delivered, and this package is my New Year's gift, something very special. I was very angry and couldn't contact the sender.
However, a USPS mail carrier named Nazir Belim was very friendly and patiently sent me a text message using the phone number on the address on the second day. He rewrote my correct address and arranged for the package to be picked up otherwise will be returned to the sender in France . Yes, I got my parcel! There is no way I can get this parcel without Nazir. The address doesn’t make any sense to anyone.
Nowadays, many people are lazy and angry, but there are still kind and responsible employees like Nazir Belim in the world. Without them, I can't imagine what the world would be like.
The world is still beautiful! Thank you, Nazir!

This is the main post office for my area. I have a resale business and drop off my packages here to insure fast delivery to my customers. I have never had this issue in the past 10 years but in the last 6 months I have had 3 packages after being dropped off saying that they were awaiting drop off. This is interesting seeing that in each instance I had dropped these packages off with other packages and had no problem with them. There is something seriously wrong at this post office. The leadership needs to be reprimanded and/or fired. The staff is no help. They could care less and any answer they provide is to appease and not to find an answer to a problem. They work at a snails pace and could care less if there are 30 people in line. They also really need an attitude adjustment. Poor reflection of a way you should run a business, oh thats right its the government, silly me.
I really hope more people complain about there treatment at the post office. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Showed up at 9:15am, just a few minutes after the post office opened up, hoping to avoid a long wait in line. Boy, was I mistaken! 7 people in line, and only one postal employee assisting customers. The line moved like molasses!
What a beautiful location, but such a shame that the customer experience is so poor.

Great branch, one of the only ones that has the automatic machines which really helps speed things up. Helpful employees. Lots of products and services available here.
