“Good car wash. Prices have gone up, however they often have a coupon on Yelp. Purchased Ultimate exterior car wash. Hand prewash is thorough as well as final wipe off. Recently upgraded cleaning systems including machines and optimized cleaning solutions as overall wash has improved ESPECIALLY my wheel rims, which were sparkling. Ultimate exterior wash also includes cleaning rims and hand cleaning of wheel side walls as well. Nice job, guys and gals!”

“I had a lot of pollen and other gunk caked on my car from just parking outdoors.I found this on yelp and decided to try it out.The property is clean and was not busy when I went over.I used my card so I had the initial swipe and then did 2 more swipes as the time was close to running out.The pressure washer is pretty strong and I like the prewash, although there is not enough time to let the pre-wash and foam soap products to really work.I was skeptical on using the brush on the car paint, but I did use it to clean the wheels and the tires, seems to work good but can't really get into the spokes.The dryer was nice as it helped to get a lot of the water off the car and was able to dry most of the car before the time expired.The arm helps you walk around the car with the pressure washer easily, but at times if the arm wasn't in the right position the hose would hit the roof and could run along it if you don't adjust the arm...which could result in scratches.Overall, pretty good option if you want to wash your own car and hopefully save some $ in the process.”

“LUX Mobile Car Wash is great! I first spoke with Anthony and expressed my desire to keep my car looking clean and shiny for as long as possible between washes. Anthony recommended to me that I get their SPS Graphene coating and WOW!My car used to be dull and just plain ugly, but after the SPS Graphene coating package, my car looks better than when I bought it! In between washes, my car stays much cleaner for longer periods of time, the hydrophobicity that the coating adds is absolutely amazing (significantly better than a regular old wax), and the best part of the coating is that it lasts 5 years! Check out the pictures, they speak for themselves (check out that mirror finish!).I would recommend LUX Mobile Car Wash to everyone looking to get their car detailed or interested in getting a ceramic or graphene coating. “PS - see update below.Original review. I was washing my car here regularly in the past and liked this place. As other notice, one card swipe now "costs" 10$ what makes this station quite expensive. I want to see the sticker with the price tag by the card swipe machines. In my recent visit, they charged me twice for every time I swiped my card what resulted in 60$ total. I will be disputing this once credit card transactions are posted.Update 10/09/2023. Changing my score from 3 to 4 stars. Three additional transactions were cancelled automatically (never transitioned to "posted" status). The remaining three became 4$ each. That's probably how their payment system works. 12$ looks reasonable to me.”

“It's a very fair price. Easy in and out. Best food truck parked in front of the carwash. I highly recommend DIY carwashers.It is still a great alternative to 60% of the car wash services in the area. And good workout.”

“My car was in much need of a wash but due to social distancing I needed a place where I could just drive through a machine, no contact with anyone and have the scrubby rollers do their thing. Fortunately, the Chevron off Whipple did the job! As I drove up, there were only about 3 cars in front of me. When I was next in line, I did have to slide my credit card and press the touch screen once to indicate I wanted the $9.00 wash. I keep purell in my car so I was able to wipe down my card and my hands. The wash took a few minutes then I was in my merry way home leaving all the 20 Lbs+ of car grime behind. It's not the most thorough of washes but my car is cleaner than it used to be. Thanks Chevron Car Wash!”

“This is the Chevron Gas Station at the corner of Veterans Blvd & Main Street in Redwood City, CA. It has a food mart, a carwash, a fairly spacious lot, and multiple islands (with one pump per island). It has a nice location on Veterans Blvd, just a few blocks from Kaiser Hospital. I was just here last week with my coworker. I got gas, some snacks and used the restroom. Sorry, I can't review the car wash. I'm guessing alot of the poor reviews are from car wash users. I have a tip for you: mechanical car washes that use rollers or brushes will leave swirls, streaks, and fine scratches on your paint. "Touchless car washes usually use harsh chemicals to clean your car, then use high pressure spraying to clean it off. If you're okay with all that, then there's no problem. The price of gas was about average for the SF Bay Area. I had to get mid-grade to offset some cheap gas I pumped the night before. I went inside to use the restroom. WOW! This restroom was super clean. It was like a showroom for bathroom fixtures. The food mart was clean too. It was well stocked with all the snacks, drinks, and candies. BTW, do you know why gas stations sell junk food? Very rarely do you see celery sticks and melon balls. Drivers are usually in a hurry. It's a fact that hungry drivers get tired faster, and you don't want to stop again do you? So it's a good idea to grab a drink and a snack for the road. Maybe something to wake you up. I'm sure you'll find something in this food mart. So, average gas prices, clean restroom, and well stocked food mart!Oh, and friendly service! The lady clerk was very friendly and joked about high prices on the snacks. Located between Jefferson & Main St, on Veterans Blvd.”
