“Lots of pumps so it is easy to get gas quickly. When there is a wait, the pumps are structured in such a way that lining up is easy and less of a free for all than other locations. The prices are always competitive and they offer diesel, 87 octane (standard) and 91 octane (premium).”

“The service here is always good; there are several lovely Associates, such as Nina and Rosie. The Store has a great selection of products, with good prices. Additionally this Arco Station is usually one of the lower-priced ones in the area. I appreciate the 10 cents a gallon further discount if you pay cash.I can truly give a favorable recommendation to them.”

“It's been a while since I've been here, and they take credit cards at the pump now! They also have soapy water which isn't too soapy, yay! And two sizes of scrubber/squeegee to wash your window with, which is very thoughtful!”

“100 Octane. Thank you so much! Even if I'm just buying 87 for my truck I will go out of my way to support the owners of this station that are providing a community service by offering 100 octane race fuel.”

“So I just use this station for the first time and I didn't actually use the gas station I use the garage. Somehow or another I picked up two nails in one tire.
I live right up the street from this station and have not visited it before during the COVID I think the garage part of it was closed down and getting in and getting out to get gas there is tricky because of the intersection. But today I pulled into the shop I had a guy come out of the office his name was Mo. He was very helpful he took a look at my tire knew exactly what to do did not try and sell me four new tires. I think for small maintenance items I will go back in there again. They were quick efficient and wet above and beyond what I was asking. The price was more than fair.”

“Always a pleasure doing business with them. Discount offered on two packs or more for cigarettes. Prices are a little steep as far as drinks & food items go. But that's why it's called a convenience store not a discount store. Quick & convenient are generally expensive. Especially here in the Bay Area.”

“Super nice staff & love the paint job on the building! Reminded me of the way gas stations were in the eightees. The only thing missing was someone pumping your gas. Good prices too!”

“Since this gas station is next to the restaurant, you need to wear your patience pants on. Folks may accidentally block the gas station when you're trying to fill up. Best prices in the Bay Area!”

“Excellent service, fresh coffee and ground coffee, although there are some employees who are a little bitter in the morning, sometimes they are angry, but that doesn't mean only products that are at a good price.”

“Usually the cheapest gas near my home, open 24 hours a day if you are using your debit card, long hoses for getting around to your car - you can only enter from one direction”

“Clean gas station that has recently been rebranded and updated with new pumps. Use the ExxonMobil app, Google Pay/Apple Pay to have a touchless experience and prices that are inline with everything else in the area. It's just around the corner from me so it's also convenient.”

“Now it is under new owner and he is so nice
Also you can pay cash not like before
I will recommend this gas station
Before, everyone who worked there was very bad-tempered, only cards, the truth is, I stopped going but now there is a new owner and new workers, they are super attentive, they are very different. Good coffee and good service, good price. Thank you for taking good care of us as Latinos. Thanks for the change”

“I had used the carwash previously with good results, but today i paid $13 and it didn't really clean the mud and carwash time was shorter than normal and that could be the reason the wash was not completed.”

“My car was in much need of a wash but due to social distancing I needed a place where I could just drive through a machine, no contact with anyone and have the scrubby rollers do their thing. Fortunately, the Chevron off Whipple did the job! As I drove up, there were only about 3 cars in front of me. When I was next in line, I did have to slide my credit card and press the touch screen once to indicate I wanted the $9.00 wash. I keep purell in my car so I was able to wipe down my card and my hands. The wash took a few minutes then I was in my merry way home leaving all the 20 Lbs+ of car grime behind. It's not the most thorough of washes but my car is cleaner than it used to be. Thanks Chevron Car Wash!”

“Among the cheapest Chevron prices in the area, lots of pumps, air and propane, restrooms, a small convenience store. I wish they put cleaner in the windshield wiper squeegee water, but otherwise a good place to go.”

“This station has very reasonably priced gas and the people that work in the convenience store are very helpful, friendly and efficient. I was there last night and there was a young woman with a dog shouting at the employees--they asked her to take her dog out but she continued to terrorize them and make stupid excuses. If the sign says NO DOGS, it means NO DOGS.”

“I always go to chevron because I can clean my windshield with soapy water and they always have napkins for car. The new chevron app is the best! I will go out of my way to find a chevron nowadays because the perks are so good. When you first join you get HUGE savings for the first 3 fuel-ups. At least as of Dec 2023. I completely recommend trying chevron. Use the app and the gas won’t be expensive like most think and it’s better for your engine. I can feel a huge difference in my car! They have a car wash and I can count on it being clean and working properly. The stores are always well supplied and open! I can’t say enough. Yes chevron!”

“I had an interesting experience here today.First, some key observations:-NO PUBLIC RESTROOM-No carwash-small food shop with lots of stuff-very nice clerk-high gas pricesIt's mid-afternoon, and I'm driving down Woodside Rd with 1/4 tank of gas. Hmm, I better get gas before getting on Hwy 101-South to San Jose. I spot this Shell Station w/ a Food Shop, and decide to fill up. I carry the Shell gas card (with Premium status), and it gives me 5-cents off per gallon. While it's pumping away, I go into the food shop to checkout the snacks and drinks. OMG! No public restroom and that food shop is tight for space inside. But it's loaded with everything you could want. The usual stuff like: Snacks, drinks, sandwiches, candy, ice cream, etc. FACT: A hungry driver gets tired faster. So grab something to munch on while driving. The young lady working as cashier is very polite and patient with customers. This shop is small inside. When 3 customers come inside, you can barely turn around. I go out expecting the pump (# 3) to be finished. BUT NO! It stopped at the 5.5 gallon mark. Yikes, this is not good. I had to restart the pump, and then went back inside to find out why the pump stopped. The polite cashier told me pump #3 sometimes stops for no reason due to vibrations or shaking. Uh-okay, so the nozzle clicks off due to ground vibration. Okay, so more time to buy more junk food for the road. Gas prices are high here. On Feb 10, 2023, UL REG was $4.85 without discounts. Midgrade and Prem are over $5-gallon. But this station is on Woodside Road. A major roadway leading to freeways. Heavy traffic flow. People like me carry the gas cards of five major brands of gasoline. Shell is top tier gas, and today Shell got my business. This location has no carwash. There is enough room to maneuver pickup trucks, SUVs, and light trucks pulling trailers. Good luck when leaving, there's some tight turns around the islands. Located at Woodside Rd & Sequoia Ave, in Redwood City, CA. -”

“The business provides outstanding customer service and a diverse range of snacks and drinks. Concerns about being "scammed" due to a pre-authorized charge that surpasses the gas purchase amount are usually caused by the customer's credit history or account balance.”

“Hidden Gem in RWC for German-Mercedes, Audi, VW- car specialists repairs and enthusiasts. The owner is personable, helpful and provides a detailed quote and is the best German mechanic I have ever used. The reason I started going here was because I live nearby and I said why not just need an oil change for my late model mercedes sedan and they did oil change-not much can go wrong. I then brought in my 12 year old Audi A6 and he fixed a major engine (misdiagnosed by a chain store repair shop) problem quoting only half of what a dealer and other "German car specialists" quoted. The owner/chief mechanic is an honest, reputable old school Mercedes Benz classically trained specialist who will not rip you off- older models are his specialtty. Checks accepted, unlike those dealer establishments. Sure you can get free coffee and a newspaper at a dealer during service but you can save thousands here!”

“Great service and very friendly owner/staff. I went in for a smog test and the owner immediately welcomed me in. I was there on a pretty hot day with my 2.5YR daughter and as I waited for my car, they offered me a bottle of water and also kept my daughter entertained. The services was quick and very professional. After I paid, he noticed that my airbag light was on and asked if I would like to have him reset the light using his OBD. I right away agreed and thank him tremendously because he really didnt have to go out of his way to do that. Very happy with the quality of service and friendliness and will definitely go back.”

“I drive for Lyft and end up far away from home (Concord). Today I ended up here in Redwood City after a very long day. I needed a bathroom break badly. I pulled into this Shell and saw they had restrooms out in the side. Walked up, no key needed, nice and clean. This is very convenient and I appreciate it.”

“This is the Chevron Gas Station at the corner of Veterans Blvd & Main Street in Redwood City, CA. It has a food mart, a carwash, a fairly spacious lot, and multiple islands (with one pump per island). It has a nice location on Veterans Blvd, just a few blocks from Kaiser Hospital. I was just here last week with my coworker. I got gas, some snacks and used the restroom. Sorry, I can't review the car wash. I'm guessing alot of the poor reviews are from car wash users. I have a tip for you: mechanical car washes that use rollers or brushes will leave swirls, streaks, and fine scratches on your paint. "Touchless car washes usually use harsh chemicals to clean your car, then use high pressure spraying to clean it off. If you're okay with all that, then there's no problem. The price of gas was about average for the SF Bay Area. I had to get mid-grade to offset some cheap gas I pumped the night before. I went inside to use the restroom. WOW! This restroom was super clean. It was like a showroom for bathroom fixtures. The food mart was clean too. It was well stocked with all the snacks, drinks, and candies. BTW, do you know why gas stations sell junk food? Very rarely do you see celery sticks and melon balls. Drivers are usually in a hurry. It's a fact that hungry drivers get tired faster, and you don't want to stop again do you? So it's a good idea to grab a drink and a snack for the road. Maybe something to wake you up. I'm sure you'll find something in this food mart. So, average gas prices, clean restroom, and well stocked food mart!Oh, and friendly service! The lady clerk was very friendly and joked about high prices on the snacks. Located between Jefferson & Main St, on Veterans Blvd.”
