I love that what my son is learning at school about God is the same as what he learns at home and at church. SJCS is a positive reinforcement of our personal faith.”

“My son’s Chinese improved greatly during only 1 year of after school. I especially like the performance shows, which are thoughtfully designed and orchestrated by dedicated teachers, and closely related to Chinese culture. There are also other fun activities like jumping house and pumpkin decoration contest throughout the year. The academic progress and happiness are high priority in the school.”

“This review is for the preschool program. My daughter Kenz left another Christian school In the Bay Area in March 2022 at that time Kenz was 3.5 still having accidents only at school and not thriving. She started attending CCS in April 2022 she had accidents the first day and then after that none. Ms Linda and Ms. Carmen have the most sweetest spirits and loving disciplinary approaches. Kenz was very blessed this year that she got to have them for jr. Pre K again . She has grown so much developmentally and physically. I love that the school provides lunches for preschool I wish they did for the toddlers as well .”

“We have been sending our children to Mimiz since June 2021, and we are so incredibly thankful to have been welcomed into the Mimiz family! Our children were 3 and 6 mos when they joined, and they have flourished under the care of the Mimiz staff and teachers. Our 3 year old had been home during the first year of the pandemic, so she had some catching up to do from a social perspective. Her teachers have been so attentive and thoughtful about individualizing their approach to her needs across the board (i.e. motor skills, academics, potty training). As a result, our daughter has truly caught up and seems well-prepared for kindergarten. Our younger one has also thrived at Mimiz; he continually surprises us with what he learns from his teachers and peers. In addition, he had some dietary concerns during his first 2 years, and Mimi and Sam were very accommodating and empathetic to the situation.Other quick notes - the facility is spotless and has ample room for children to play. The children love the meals at Mimiz, and they make accommodations, as needed. They make holidays special for the children, going all out with celebrations and decorations. They also include a wide variety of cultural holidays which is inclusive and educational. Mimiz communicates regularly and efficiently regarding the children's needs; we are always kept in-the-know, both about daily activities and ongoing development and focus areas.We went through a few daycares/preschools for our older child before finding Mimiz, and in hindsight, we wish we found them from the very start. We will be sad to leave Mimiz once our children reach kindergarten age, but we are so happy to be with them now!”

“I'm a baker alumni and this school is amazing, I loved it, the environment, the students, the teachers, the staff were absolutely AMAZING. Everything was amazing and if I had the choice to relive my childhood I would choose that without hesitation. As someone who's first language isn't English, in my early years of Kindergarden-3rd Grade I struggled with improving my English. However, this school over the years has dramatically helped increase my English skills to the point where I was more proficient in it than majority of students in my grade. Not only is this school's education in English amazing, so is their science and math education as well! Teachers there do an amazing job at breaking down hard concepts into simple lessons through the usage of hands on learning which is super educating for kids!Not only that, as someone that moved away from that area and having to attend a different district. I can definitely say that the environment of which this school is in, the people that attend this school, and staff are EXTREMELY kind. This school is incomparable as it was truly the peak of my childhood and I promise you that if you're thinking of sending your child here you won't regret it!”
