I drove 2 hours with my kids last minute for a sports event, & I was in desperate need of a good deal and 2 affordable used tires, my only concern was getting my precious cargo home safe! They helped me out gave me a great deal, even rotated a better tire to the front and added 2 almost brand new tires on my truck 265/70r17! “These guys saved the day! My husband ran here in a hurry after another tire company would not honor his appointment time to mount and balance new rims and tires. And time was of the essence as he had our infant son with him. This is also his work truck so downtime had to be minimal.
Victor immediately sprung to action and had a few guys on his crew work on the truck. While they were doing this, they uncovered an issue with the truck that my husband was not aware of. Fast forward, it was a manufacturer defect that GMC took care of. We are very grateful for the time they took to troubleshoot!!

“I went to get an alignment done knowing I had suspension issues and the mechanic Jose ran a quick diagnostic when I explained what the car does he was transparent and knew exactly what the issue was with my truck went and got the parts I thought I was gonna need to change a lot of suspension parts . Went and got the parts (trailing arm ) and fixed my issues now I’m back on the streets with working truck. Very knowledgeable and transparent they got another happy customer . “I have been trying to fix my death wobble on my 2013 Ford 250 for three months. I went to multiple shops, and California Concepts was the one to figure out the issue! Brian is an excellent mechanic with decades of experience that shows through his work. They put a steering stabilizer on the front end of the truck. They also put some Fox shocks. when I drive, it feels like I am riding in the sky. I don’t have to worry about having the death wobble and fearing for my life at 80 miles an hour. I highly suggest California Concepts to anyone who has issues with any vehicle.”
“This place truly earned my 5 stars and respect. I’m a car lover — not a full-blown enthusiast, but definitely someone who cares deeply about how my vehicles are handled. I’ve had some disappointing experiences at other service locations around the Peninsula when bringing in my performance SUV and sedan.
Those shops looked professional on the outside (4+ stars rating in Google Maps), with clear windows into the service bay (which I thought meant transparency), but I personally witnessed technicians sitting in my driver’s seat to take photos, tossing center caps around like toys, and even manually slamming my power trunk instead of using the button. Thankfully, no damage was done, but it was still frustrating. Managers apologized, but nothing ever changed.
Today, I gave the Redwood City location a try — one last hope. I came in for a tire replacement after finding a nail in the sidewall. Denon at the front desk greeted me right away, went over the details, and took the time to note my request to use the trunk button instead of pulling it manually. When David, received the car in the service bay, I could actually see Denon reminding him of this detail — and David followed through exactly as asked.
Small things like that really stand out to people who care about their cars. The install cost me $28 for a customer-supplied tire — not the cheapest around, but absolutely worth it for the professionalism, respect, and smooth experience.
If the shop owner happens to read this: great job. Your team at Redwood City has earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future business.”

“I really appreciated the great customer service from the Costco Tire Center in Redwood City, California, especially from a particular employee named Zak Mathews. Mr. Mathews was very attentive and understanding of my need to get all four of my tires placed on my truck as soon as possible so my family and I could safely get to our camping trip on time. Although I had no appointment at the time, he registered me for a walk in early morning and luckily there was a space available for me to get my tires put on swiftly and safely. My children were very happy to get going on their summer camping trip and I was able to feel safe and secure that my truck would safely get them there because of Mr. Mathew's great work.
