Universal Thrift Store is a popular destination for treasure hunters, offering a vast selection of items. Shoppers can find clothing and shoes on the lower level, while the upper floor features decor, sports equipment, video games, books, and larger items. The store is noted for its impressive collection of books, considered one of the best at a thrift store. While the prices can vary, many customers enjoy the fantastic deals, especially during sales on weekends and the last weekend of the month when items are 50% off.
However, opinions about the staff are mixed; some customers report unfriendly interactions, while others find the owners and employees to be welcoming. The store's organization may be lacking, which can be overwhelming for some, but many appreciate the thrill of the hunt. It's important to note that the store is cash-only and parking is available on the street. Despite some cleanliness concerns, the variety and pricing keep customers returning to this unique thrift store.
