“Chris worked on an old Morse Stereo
console that was dead in the water. It was a beautiful piece with an AM/FM stereo and turntable that I inherited. Unfortunately, it didn’t have power or when I plugged it in nothing turned on or responded. Chris is busy, honestly we made arrangements to meet several times but plans fell through, but it was worth the wait!! Chris definitely knowledgeable around these old consoles. I think he’s a magician because in hardly any time he got everything working like new. I’m now listening to old vinyl albums and tripping down memory lane. I highly recommend Voice of Vintage Hifi and Chris’s expertise.”

“I stumbled upon rebound consignment furniture store recently as I was looking for a certain table: the Cleeves coffee table by lulu & Georgia and on the lulu website this table was selling for 1500 and shipping date was given as march!! When I spoke to Jeanie she was so kind and worked with me on every step. I live in Illinois so she arranged for a freight service pickup at the best price and my package was so perfectly packed it came just as I expected!! I would recommend those who are in other parts of the US to use this company and check out their site! I am beyond happy with my purchase!!”

“Claudia is so amazing! I haven't been here yet, but I wanna go. I love Back To The Future and I also wanna meet her! I've seen the photos of the store, and I love that you have the BTTF pics in the store. So neat! Can't wait to actually meet you. I love watching your videos on YT, even though they aren't recent. Come back sometime when you can! Also is this really open 24 hours? I live far away and hope to hop on a plane (or delorean, but I don't own one?) to Studio City, and go to all the cool places from my fave TV shows and movies! I like to travel a lot so I could possibly come in the future. I have watched all 3 movies 3 times in my life. I got introduced to BTTF in September 2024 when I went to the Broadway production B4 I have even watched the movies. I'm a theatre kid and I thought movie Broadway productions meant the original cast does the show. It was so good! Anyway I hope to come and visit ❤️”

“Can’t say enough good things about the Milk Room. The owners Greg and Rob put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. They have an amazing collection of clothes and super reasonable prices. It can sometimes be intimidating to walk into a vintage shop, but these guys made everyone who walked in comfortable. Greg and Rob are just so personable and down to earth. When Rob heard I loved animal tees, he went in the back and brought out this crazy dolphin tee for me. Most vintage shops would charge well over $30 for it and he threw it in for $10.They also have a recording studio in the back and let tons of young bands use their space to perform. The vibes here are just amazing and I’m so happy I stopped by.Best shop in LA, hands down!”

“this is the place. it feels like an upscale store, super clean, organized and when i went they were playing classical music :,) the pieces are so well taken care of, and everything was 50% off! then - i looked at the prices and they are so FAIR for the very upscale pieces they have. i found a $550 veronica beard sweater for 30 DOLLARS! it was definitely my win for the day. the two women who run the shop are so kind, friendly, and actually take the time to share what the shop is all about and where the proceeds go. will definitely be back!”

“This is a great salvation army store. I love the opportunity to buy great items second-hand rather than buy things from something like Amazon or Shein or Temu which is so bad for the planet and people working in those factories.

My one comment would be please make sure that when you're saying you're giving discounts based on certain tag colors that you are ringing that up at the register. When I got home I realized I was charged full price for all the items I had with the green tag which was the tag that was 50% off today. The gentleman helping was very kind. But I just wanted to call out that we need to make sure that customers are charged correctly.”

“My two teenage grandson loved this place. So much so they wanted to go back. We went back Monday morning. The website said they open at 11, the sign on the door said they opened at 11. But it was 11:15 and they weren’t open. We went across the street and got something to eat while we waited but they still weren’t open at noon. I called the other locations that also said they opened at 11 but none answered their phones. My guess is they aren’t open on Mondays and they need to update their website and sign in the door. Other than that we will most definitely go again.”

“This cute antique store has many interesting items to tickle your fancy for any occasion. Each section offers a unique style ranging from antique silver cutlery, bowls, plates, costume jewelry and real jewelry, antique furniture, and so much more. The two owners are knowledgeable about their vast inventory of items for sale. They also buy items from the public pertainable to the merchandise they sell at the store. Retro Relics is located on Sherman Way in Canoga Park along the antique section of this area, West of Canoga Ave. Defintely stop by and peruse their store. You will find many unique holiday items to give as gifts or for any occasion.”

“Very clean and organized, one of the best thrift stores in the Valley. Yes, this store prices the merchandise a little higher than other stores. I believe that's the result of culling the choice items and only putting the best out for sale. Good parking situation, which is always a plus.”

“This shop is special. Beautifully curated with something for everyone. A brilliant mix of new and old, ceramics, linens, candles, candleholders, paintings, frames, Knick knacks, rugs, glassware, the list goes on. It’s incredible really. Nothing is crammed in here, everything is displayed so thoughtfully. There is usually a history of story behind the vintage items which the gracious owner shares with such candor and heart. This place is a hidden jewel.”

“Equvalence in Encino is hands down one of the best stores I’ve been to! The owner is super nice and really knows how to take care of his customers. He personally cashed me out and bought my shoes for a very fair price—no lowballing, just honest business. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure people leave happy.

The store itself is amazing, filled with all kinds of heat—tons of shoes, streetwear, and even Bearbricks for collectors. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or trade, this is the perfect spot. It’s super clean, well-organized, and has a great vibe overall. And now, they even have a Boba shop inside, which just makes the experience even better! You can grab a drink while browsing all the dope stuff they have in stock.

If you’re into sneakers, fashion, or collectibles, you NEED to check this place out. The service is top-tier, the selection is crazy, and the owner makes sure you’re taken care of. Definitely my go-to spot in Encino. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent sourced for pre owned clothing, although the clothing seemed completely new and the prices are really fair. Nearly 50% off popular brands like reformation. Will be going back whenever I’m in the neighborhood.”

“I haven't sold in awhile and gave it another shot. I really nice girl, Toluca? I believe was her name looked at my items, was polite and courteous. They don't have any obligation to take your clothes. You just have to be mentally prepared that they might have a lot of inventory or they are very particular on brand /style. Great dress selection!”

“I live in Sherman Oaks and as an avid thrifter, I rely on this Goodwill for 2 things: last stop in my circuit if I didn’t find anything good at the other shops, OR go-to for late night last minute runs (for example, I do floral arrangements and sometimes need to grab a glass vase for a customer’s order).

My favorite things about this Goodwill are:
1.) The cashiers- I usually see the same few young people at the register and they are so hardworking and polite, always conversational, with great customer service attitudes even when the store is swamped!
2.) Glassware- there’s ALWAYS a nice big variety of glass vases, all different colors, shapes, and sizes; drinking glasses and decorative glassware too.
3.) Lamps- I have found the sickest vintage lamps here ? Sherman Oaks is vintage lamp country for sure…
4.) Picture frames- again big variety, and the prices are super worth it considering how expensive picture frames are new. Just be sure to measure your artwork or bring it with you to check for a good fit!

I don’t buy clothes here (or at any Goodwill) because as a company their pricing policy for clothing is objectively wack. If you’re looking for beautiful clothes hit up any American Cancer Society Discovery Shop; or the Salvation Army Boutique on a sale day.

The parking lot IS super small so I sometimes park on the street to avoid it.”

“I stopped by today (Sunday) to try and sell some stuff. I didn’t end up selling anything, but I’ve gotta give a shoutout to the staff member who helped me—wish I’d caught his name! He was super welcoming, walked me through the whole process, clearly explained why they couldn’t take my items, and even gave me a really helpful recommendation. My experience was way better than I expected (especially after seeing some of the negative reviews), and I’d totally recommend this location!”

“I have been a seller at Crossroads Trading Co. for the past 20 + years. I began selling in We Ho and have now done business with numerous Crossroads in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas as well as PDX. Of all the locations I have visited, the WeHo store is the WORST in terms of customer service; the young women are rude and usually ignore customers. The manager, Matthew, is lovely but his staff is not and he seems to not care about that. The security guard, Louis (?) is always gracious and provides a sense of safety in an otherwise sketchy area. The two very best stores in the Crossroads Trading chain are Studio City and Costa Mesa by far !! Mila, Amanda, and Jose in Studio City are delightful, helpful, friendly, courteous, and upbeat. Mila took the time to examine my clothing and had a great sense of fashion. The selection of clothing throughout the store was very good. In Costa Mesa, Riley, Taisha, and the entire team are always friendly and welcoming. Again, a nice selection of clothing- I often purchase items when my intent is to sell them, but the selection is so terrific that I rarely walk out empty-handed . +”
