I can’t tell if these other reviews are paid for or if I’ve received uniquely terrible service. My rate was jacked up from $83/month to $113/month despite being assured that the maximum that rates would ever go up is 10-20% for a given 6 month period. I explicitly asked this because I’m out of the area for 2 years and didn’t have the option to go back and move my stuff out. Also, there’s no email address which ever responds to emails, and the phone line is almost never answered.Would just warn that it’s very possible that the rate you’re quoted initially is a teaser and they’ll jack it up as soon as they’re legally allowed to.

All I can say is how fortunate I feel that my precious belongings are safe, and protected at the Canal St location.The current manager Aja and her staff have gone out of their way to work with me, providing the peace of mind that I’ve needed when my family documents, photos and furnishings cannot be kept with me in my current home.When an issue arose recently the site Manager Aja responded with emails and calls until a challenging technical situation was completely resolved. Her professional manner was always balanced by her warm, positive personality. Great Customer Service!I highly recommend this location for anyone’s storage needs. The staff is excellent and work hard to keep renters really happy to have their possessions stored at the location on Canal St in Richmond, CA . Right off the freeway and even accessible by public transportation, it ’s well worth the easy drive from Oakland, Berkeley, or across the Richmond ~San Rafael Bridge.

I’m a returning customer because of the excellent service. Shout out to Aja and Ceja at the Point Richmond location who both bent over backwards, and went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate my needs.I had to move with a broken leg - Ceja and Aja showed genuine care, and worked hard to help make a challenging move a snap. Thank you both again for all your help, it meant the world to me and my family.
