It's a BIG store -- take some time to check out all the nooks of this shop! Prices ranges here depending on what item -- but there's something for everyone here. Staff are not intrusive and generally will service you at the check-out counter.”

“If you have a small grandchild and have not yet visited Dimples, you have a great treat in store. The story is visually the proverbial candy store, something good everywhere you look.In the three seasons since I discovered Dimples and became addicted, the owner/buyer, Tatiana, has not made a false move. Everything is not only adorable but completely wearable. Fabrics are soft; brands are specialty but affordable. There is lots of selection and a few perfect toys to round out birthday giving.There are also a few mom gifts; check out the earrings for yourself.I always wonder about incredibly positive reviews, so I assure you I did not know the owner until I wandered in the first time. I only have so many pictures [from two different visits] since I send then to my daughter to vet my choices. I only have little boys to buy for so the pictures may not amaze you. If you have a daughter or granddaughter....!”

“I've been going here ever since I was pregnant with my son, and now expecting my next child. Conveniently located across the Prenatal care at Kaiser. They always have an adorable collection of clothes and they have Jellycat plushies! I stopped by here just to see if they had the Jellycat turtle for my son before purchasing online, and I was able to spot it right away. Everything is fairly priced as well and the workers are always nice when I am here. Happy that this place has stuck around :) picture of my pleased toddler with his new turtle attached.”
“Quite the toy store. The staff are friendly, I went in looking for a unique chess board and they had one in stock. The prices are quite fetching in this store and I did not get the item because of that, but still a good spot for the family and kids in the neighborhood to meander in and have fun.”
“Ying Hobbies & Toys it's the hidden gem you never knew you needed! My wife stumbled upon this treasure while on a quest for Gunpla goodness, and boy, am I glad she did. Tucked away in a cozy spot, Ying Hobbies & Toys might play hard to get at first, but once you lay eyes on its bounty of plastic wonders, you'll be hooked. The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. Seriously, choosing just one model feels like trying to pick a favorite child - impossible and bound to hurt someone's feelings. But fear not, the guy running the place is pretty helpful. With his guidance, navigating through the sea of model kits becomes a breeze! Oh and the pricing is super fair specially for all the cool stuff you can find. So, if you're a Gundam enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the art of model kits, do yourself a favor and pay Ying Hobbies & Toys a visit. “Stopping in here was a highlight of our vacation! Rob is a wizard and really captured the kid’s interest and attention. His patient prodding and encouragement kept everybody entertained for way longer than I thought possible. Oh yeah, the puzzles are fantastic - we bought a few and have yet to get board! Excellent stop!”

“Very cool toy store. Great mix/range of toys. From silly/fun/lower engagement to developmental/higher engaging. Kind staff. Included complimentary gift wrapping with purchase of toys. They also will wrap toys/gifts from elsewhere for a nominal charge. Very nice wrapping with string bow. Cool store to just explore as well! Seems like they are engaged with the community, and sponsor a youth sports team. Kid friendly with supervision, and leashed dog friendly.”
“Been here twice so far! Last time my boyfriend bought me a sailor mars figure and a tokidoki figure, this time i left with 3 little kewpie babies!
$9 each is such a great price these are expensive on ebay. The lady was super sweet and I will definitely be back again especially since i know she has kewpie babies!”
“A fantastic toy store for kids of all ages! Average pricing. This shop is crammed with products, offering all sorts of toys, games, books, accessories, postcards and gifts. I especially love the selection of books about Sausalito and SF that were right at the front of the store.”

“Wasn't sure what to make of this shop when I first moved into the neighborhood, but two years later I don't know what I'd do without it! They have a very well-curated selection of cards, way better than you'd find in a drug store or supermarket. They also have a constantly rotating collection of random giftable items that have helped me out in a pinch on several occasions. Prices might be a bit higher than some other places, but good taste doesn't come cheap!”
“Maggie is friggin wonderful. About a year ago I started a personal conscierge service. Needless to say I'm still learning how to shop for items that are not PS5 or Steam related. Good ole Maggie eased my anxiety and made it an overall pleasant interaction. Once again. Thank you young lady. You're the bomb.”

“The exploratorium store was a cool spot with a huge range of gifts to get. It is the gift shop to the Exploratorium. I liked the black sand exhibit at the Exploratorium and asked the sales associate there for some. She was very happy and eager to lead the way to the black sand. They also have a bunch of other cool tacky stuff to buy from a test tube glass tea diffuser to crystal rocks.A jar of black sand was $9.72 which I thought was a fair price to pay.”
“Nice big shop right on the pier. Friendly staff and a large selection. I love that you can get little souvenir tee shirts and clothes for your bear, but my kids aren’t really the souvenir type so we got Pokémon, lame!”
“Very cute toy shop down this street. It's 2 stories and is decorated from top to bottom. Definitely a great place to bring your kids or just to look around if you just like cute things in general. They have gift wrapping here as well and there's some children's books on the top floor. Lots of unique toys that you generally won't find in big retail stores with a toy section, but they have some popular and familiar characters, brands, and series too (Minecraft, Sonic, etc.). Of all the shops down this street, I think this one stood out the most.”

“The staff is very knowledgeable about real books. But the store seems to lack the majority of books, half of the story still books but the other half is toys, games and other ridiculous items that I would not buy in a bookstore.”
“The Lawrence Hall of is an amazing place! Perfect place for kids to explore and play. Different aspects of science to appease whatever mood he's in and keep him engaged and curious. I love all of the hands on activities and fun ways to learn science concepts. It's not filled with a bunch of exhibits with reading and pictures only, but actual activities with included supplies or high quality displays to touch. Only thing I would change would the food selection. The cafe has been closed and the snacks in the gift shop are hardly foods that any responsible parent would give their kids (the most nutritious thing is a lunchable or protein pack with almonds and cheese). The rest are chips/candy/cookies. So bring your own lunch.”

“I have come in several times! I love this place! I live in Pleasanton CA. We recently had a toy store open up in town. It's nice, but my grand daughter and a couple of her friends started to go in and were kicked out because they had starbucks drinks (all with lids) and the woman there was quite rude about it. That doesn't make me want to go there.! Montclair Toyhouse is the place to go!! Always friendly and helpful!”
