“Not only are the workers sweet but this store has things you need and things you didn’t even know you needed! This store has everything from dependable appliances to expensive makeup for one dollar. The workers are so nice and helpful, I find people complain that the workers don’t open mystery boxes on dollars days but this is because there is so many people that come here that they can’t open several boxes for each person. Every other day they open mystery boxes for us with no probelm. This place is my holy grail!!!”

“This store is refreshing to walk through most days. Once and awhile, shipments come in mid day or mid-shift and employees put away what they can, leaving the rest for the swing shift crew. I notice a good amount of work has been done by all shifts, managers included. A lot of smiles and eye contact. I am impressed, to say the least.”

“Just wanted to say thank you to the cashier Carrie at the Mc Henry location. I had just finished going through her line when I realized I had left my atm card at home. She was so sweet and put everything aside for me till my husband could arrive with my atm card. Then, she had to ring everything back up and bag it all once again. $80.00 dollars worth of stuff I felt horrible!! But she was so sweet from begging to end. When I was checking out I told the girl how nice the store looks .She said Thank You , she is the new manager Mariah and that her and her team have been working hard to get it fixed . “When we first moved to the area I would only shop at the local grocery store as it was simply a habit. Unfortunately grocery prices led me to finder cheaper alternatives. I was pleasantly surprised by this dollar general! It is generally well kept and the employees are nice. I only wish that they had replacement stock on hand for some items that tend to run out quickly. My only other recommendation is that the front area could be organized a bit better. Some of the seasonal items get pushed together and hidden in what appears to be clutter. Overall, good place to get necessities!”

Don’t pay attention to any bad reviews especially the ones where people show up at closing time. Who does that and expects service? And to Asaf A. I was shopping when you visited and came all the way from the back of the store because you were yelling and cussing so loud. Do the store a favor and don’t come back. These people are doing their jobs and don’t need impatient jerks speaking to women they way you did! Keep up the great work dollar tree ?”

“Just a great place to go and find secondhand items you'll always find something good at the Goodwill whether it's in Modesto Lathrop Stockton Manteca I take it back they don't have one in Lathrop the one in Tracy is good that's the one I meant the one in Modesto is good too I found a pair of pants that are very expensive jeans and I think I paid seven dollars and I'll be able to sell them on the Internet for at least 40 so it's a good way to make cash sometimes”

“Prices are good.Staff was friendly.Store was stocked well.Fairly clean for the area.The only thing is they have a lot of homeless people hanging out and the area can be quite a bit sketchy. I know a lot of parents lately have been letting their kids run around the store without any intervention from the staff. But that's just bad parenting not the stores fault. But I would suggest it's not very safe in the area if you are by yourself.”

“Love the dollar tree! I love going here! There is Always, Always something NEW to discover here!!! They always have plenty of cute party decorations, cards, gift bags,boxes and wrapping paper, tissue paper and shredded colored paper to fill the gift bag or box.
