“A pretty decent store. Very clean but sometimes can be disorganized. Boxes are places throughout the store which can block the aisles. The employees were nice and respectful.”
“The staff here is very helpful! I only experienced a kinda grumpy employee once and who knows what was going on, you know? Everyone has a bad day and at least they weren't rude, just kinda grumpy but other than that, they are always very friendly and helpful. I like shopping here. I love the dinner sets I bought here and the selection of greeting cards that aren't over $6 like I've seen in some stores. They have a great selection of snacks so it's always been a go to when going to the movies or having a picnic or just satisfying a sweet tooth. I wouldn't be able to write this review without the reading glasses that I buy there, lol.”
“My daughter and I shop Dollartree weekly! My top picks are McHenry ave at Leveland, and Carver Road! We are greeted when we walk through the door with smiles! The workers are actually happy to see us back each week! Managers John, and Joy are the best! They treat us with kindness and respect, and have become our friends! The store is clean, and well stocked. All team members are always working hard. Celeste at Carver road is the sweetest! Thank all of you for being amazing human beings! ❤️”
“This is my favorite dollar store, and I know it's not their fault, but I found a human hair embedded in one of the Assured brand cotton swabs. Brand new & unopened. ? I don't expect them to be sterile, but this is gross.”

The employees also see how hard that can be on some people and the same gentleman rang me up again and again help me walk to my car across the parking lot with all my stuff because I couldn't take the cart outside. “Very close to my residence, super convenient to grab some energy drinks or water or...nowadays pretty much anything you need! ??♂️ ?? Even Coolant for your car or motor oil not to mention they even have tools and mechanics work gloves! I'm telling you they have it all! ?? The only thing I wish they would do differently is actually open the other registers and hire some more employees to help check out guests a lot a faster instead of only having one of them open causing 1 LONG line and then you end up late for work waiting to check out a few items ??♂️ other than that they are GREAT! ??”

Its always well stocked and the employees r very helpful and courteous.i give the 5stars 2the young man that works evenings.hes fast patient greets u when u walk in.great service. There's a lady that works that has an attitude and acts bothered if asked something.never smiles and is rude.especially to people that had a lot of stuff and customer uses the coupons.well those take a few min 2 go thru at register.she gets impatient and an attitude.not friendly.but the young man with black hair is a very good employee.”

“I'm only giving a five star review based on staff. I love going here because everyone that works there, without exception, are extremely kind, compassionate and outstanding human beings. This is not hyperbole whatsoever, but my true and honest feelings. When I first moved to this tiny Town the stuff at this particular store was extremely rude and just plain horrible. When employee tried to ban me from the store because I called him out for being so rude to me every time I came into the store. When I came back the next day to talk to the manager about what the young man had done the evening before, I found that they had let go the whole entire staff that was there and they had all been replaced. I don't know how they found this group of people that's there now but I hope none of them ever leave!”

“I love the values, and savings I get when I do to this store. They alway have the best saving when it comes to little gizmos, gadgets, qrt projects, birthdays etc.
The cons/ negative thingsare the festivia glasses they sell with for the seasonal drinking glasses keep breaking in my hands when I wash them.”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize Terry, who works at our local Dollar General in Oakdale, CA. I recently overheard some negative comments from a corporate team about her communication style, and I found it very unprofessional for them to speak about her in front of customers.
Terry consistently provides exceptional customer service. She greets everyone with a warm smile and goes out of her way to ensure that customers feel valued. I appreciate her friendly demeanor and the way she engages with everyone, making shopping at Dollar General a pleasant experience.
In fact, I sometimes drive to out-of-town Dollar Generals because our local store often has products in boxes rather than on the shelves. However, I always return to this location because of Terry's wonderful customer service.
Instead of criticizing dedicated employees like Terry, I would encourage management to focus on solutions, such as hiring overnight stockers to help unload and stock products. It's frustrating for customers when items are available but not accessible.
In a world where good customer service can sometimes feel rare, Terry stands out. She deserves recognition for her hard work, and I hope her contributions are valued. Thank you, Terry, for always brightening my day!”

“Went to the store in escalon, on Tuesday Sept. 26. I used to go often. There are carts filled with msde. Self serve, checkout was closed. 1 cashier, there was msde. by the front register, why was the cashier not working on the freight that was there. 2 young men towards the back working the freight, then 1 left. Cases of water left outside. I'm not sure what happened, but it never looked like this. Terrible. Won't be back.”
“I went to this Dollar Tree today to buy a card for a family member. And I got it. The prices were fair. The customer service was good. But alot of the shelves in the store were empty and the store was a little bit of a mess to. I don't know why I've been to this Dollar Tree a couple of times before in the past and the shelves were full and the store was clean also.”
