“1st time coming here and it was the BEST DECISION I made. This place is a 10/10, best experience for an oil change service. The staff are so professional, courteous and awesome. The price was right and even better with the coupon on there website. My car felt soo much better upon driving, i immediate felt it stronger, faster and smoother on the road. “I had such a great experience here thanks to Al, the shop manager. He was absolutely incredible — so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. I came in because my car door was squeaking, and not only did he take care of the issue for free, but he also took the time to answer all of my questions about my brakes and tires.
He thoroughly looked over my car to check for any safety concerns and gave me honest, straightforward suggestions without any pressure to use their services. I truly appreciated that his main focus was on making sure I was safe driving — especially on the freeway — rather than trying to sell me anything.

“I happened to pass by this tire shop on my way to work because my rear right tire kept losing air and I’m so glad I did!
Christian was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. He took a quick look at my tire and told me it didn’t seem to be anything major. He said it would take about 45 minutes to an hour.
About 10 minutes later, he came back and told me they had found a nail in the tire and could fix it right away for FREE!! My car was ready less than 20 minutes!
I was definitely lucky today! Christian was honest, kind, and provided such quick and great service. I really appreciate his help and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs tire service. Great experience!”

Armstrong was recommended by a friend and my family has been coming here for around 4 years or so. I’ve only spoken to John, so naturally I always look for him when I have car trouble, but I’m sure Bob has worked on my cars too. Both gentlemen are wonderfully nice, polite and respectful. 😊
In the last few weeks I’ve been coming in and out for several family cars. I know nothing about cars and John is aware. 🫣 Haha So he’s always giving me advice and helping me make the best decisions. 😋
For example, some parts don’t need to be fixed immediately, so he’ll tell me to wait. Also, some parts shouldn’t be fixed because the car is too old and it’s not worth it and so on…
Furthermore, I was having muffler issues and John recommended Tony's Muffler And Radiator Service (8516 Garvey Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770). He even called them to let them know what I needed because another shop (East LA) tried to take advantage of me and I was feeling anxious. 😞
Moreover, the guys are precise and swift with repairs. One day I had to tow one of the cars to the shop. It was almost 5:30pm (closing time), but John jumped immediately at the car. Next day, around 10am he calls to tell me my car is ready to go. 🙀
John’s inherent good-heartedness and kindness is what I love about Armstrong. This directly reflects on their work ethic and how they handle each repair. Their labor costs are fair and for parts it really depends on the car/model.
From my experience with the guys, I highly recommend them. 🫶🏽☺ Thank you John and Bob for taking care of me~ 🐰

Since December 2022 I’ve had three cars that I’ve taken to Armstrong. The gentlemen, Bob and John, are dedicated to their craft. Their knowledge, experience and skills are exemplified through every diagnosis, repair and/or routine automotive maintenance. Their work ethic continues to be impeccable and I trust them completely with my car/s. One of the many things I love about Bob and John is that despite my limited knowledge they will thoroughly explain each dashboard warning light/issue/repair in depth and answer my questions genuinely.
The work they’ve done for me so far includes suspension system, alternator, battery, battery terminals, engine coils, spark plugs, coolant reservoir, ECU, oil change, transmission fluid, tire rotation, engine/cabin filter, fluids (steering wheel, wiper fluid, brake fluid, coolant), tire pressure, headlights, transmission rebuild, sensors, radiator, engine mounts and brake pads.

“I was referred to C & L Auto Repair by a friend who knows the owner personally. This humble auto shop is owned by Cau, who is friendly, honest, and unassuming. Unfortunately, I know little to nothing about cars. However, after leaving my car with Cau, he called me soon with an update. It turns out that my car needed a new spark plug replacement. He walked me through what needed to be done, the prices for different OEM/generic options, and clearly explained everything. I had a great experience here and would recommend to friends/family, please support this small business. :)”

“I've been coming to the same mechanic since I had my first car (at least 7-8 years now) and haven't ever had any issues. Johnny was always very honest about what I absolutely needed to fix ASAP and what could last a while longer before my next maintenance visit; there was a lot of work that my car needed because it was a hand me down. I wanted it to last and he worked with me to keep it running for as long as I could without burning a hole in my wallet. I also like that sometimes he would take the car for a drive around the block to make sure it's safe and everything sounds good before handing the keys back over. Almost a decade with this auto shop and the quality of service has never dwindled. I'll probably always come back here because I trust them”

“For the past 20+ years, I have own 3 cars plus all family members' cars have been serviced and repaired by this shop. The most important thing to us is the owner is honest and skillful one will not find elsewhere. We have never need to follow up on any repairs or have to go back for any repairs. The owner is the most honest guy that I have been highly recommended to co-workers and friends, who were all very satisfied with their value repairs in which make me and them go back to this shop over the years whenever needed. There might be time that the shop got very busy due to happy returning customers who rather dropped their car off with a trusted mechanic then go elsewhere which is more marketing tactic. Unless it is a quick oil change, I usually dropped off my cars, rather than rushing them since each car requires time to diagnose, some parts need to be ordered and wait for delivery then repaired.”

“Have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2019, we were bringing my husbands work truck and recently took in our Gladiator when we suspected the battery needed changing, I went to my dealer( where I had been going for years for this truck) they wanted $250 to “inspect” the truck to tell me what was wrong on top of what the cost would be for the “fixing” left the dealer came to LC and he charged only the fee for battery and replacement not inspection fee like the crazy dealer! So glad we have someone like this shop we can trust with our vehicles! Highly recommend!”
