The branch manager at this location needs to stop trying to play God and just release the funds to people who are regulars, it is completely unacceptable that on her lunch break my girlfriend who explained the situation in great detail and has cashed Many checks with this bank still can only be released $200 out of her $1400 check this is our rent money and our lives you are playing with. And yes you are playing with them. I know the Manager has the option to release all funds in emergencies which this was. Do better, We live in placer county not south sac…

I don’t understand why I would come in for an appointment, be given the wrong information that I needed to bring, and the person that I’m supposed to meet with (I am early) but she’s here and she said she’s scheduled for her break and she must take it before she can spend time with us. How professional is that. I will definitely be looking for a new bank/credit union to take my business .

The branch in Rancho Cordova is horrible!! No matter what time or day you visit the line is to the door. The tellers are very slow. They see 20+ people in line and they will ask you what are your plans today? Are you going on vacation? We have people waiting!!!

A few months back. I got in a car accident. The girl broke my car. I have two jobs and have great credit. All of my banking is with Golden 1. I was told I needed to have an $800 deposit to get a loan.Or a cosigner. LOL my car guy got me a loan from another Credit Union great rate didn't have to pay for a month, no deposit and no cosigner:-) I was getting invites for Golden 12 re-assign my loan to Golden 1. The rates were high. I went in and spoke with Armine Hovhannison member services specialist. And she agreed for me to stay with the loan that I have.. I love my golden one for so many reasons. Help me live my life. Financially speaking.... I felt as if my golden one let me down.. this gal renewed me to think I should stay with you... thank you a r m i n e

After spending about 20min in a queue for turn to make cash withdrawal, I noticed I forgot my wallet but they will not serve me, even the manager was not helpful. What’s the point of taking the customer information, ID and signature and sometimes picture onto bank systems. Very poor customer, I wasted my lunch time.

I went in just before noon, no wait. This credit union can get very busy. I love this bank (credit union) as a whole. Use the atm when you can and their website and app have functions that can avoid having to go in.

This branch NEVER has enough tellers. I have never been in this branch long lines! Until they hire more people, the service in branch will suck!Update: while waiting in the crazy line, someone from an office came out and offered to help. Super helpful!

Was told I needed to make an appointment to get my Name changed when in fact I do not need to make an appointment. I hate that making an appointment to see someone is even a thing, instead of signing in and waiting... like every other bank.... not one of the advisers were helping anyone and they still turned me away. Went down the street to another golden1 and they saw me without an appointment and explained the front windows tellers could have helped me.

My very first experience with this bank was I couldn't open an account because they said I didn't have a bank history and needed my social security card. I have been banking since I was 15 years old. Whatever! Tried recently to open an account for my daughter by appointment only. Not like the old days when you walk in and get help. We were 10 minutes late, out of our control. Sat in the lobby area completely ignored. No "hi" or "someone will be right with you", as the two agents talked with each other. Horrible first impression. Finally our lady came out. She said "I marked you as a no show". And basically complained that she wouldn't have time to help us because another person was coming in 30 minutes. So!? We left after she continued to hum and haw over us being late. Drove straight to Patelco. No appointment. Greeted us at the door and said give us 10 minutes and we will help you make an account! Now that's service!

Phil was very polite and helpful, always a good experience at Golden1
