I was desperate to get my 75-pound doodle, Jake, groomed after chemo treatments and before he started 20 days of radiation for cancer. I waited too long and had such a small window, but Shell squeezed him into her insanely busy schedule just simply out of the kindness of her heart. (And for a complete stranger.)
When I picked him up he looked ‘incredible’, easily one of the best grooms he’s ever had in nine years. Then, when I went to pay, she told me she was covering the entire visit. I tried to argue, I was so determined to pay and tip her big, but she wouldn’t budge. She just said, ‘You have enough going on.’ I completely broke down crying right there.
I’ve told the extended version of this story to so many people this week as they’re calling to check in on Jake and I cry every single time, with them tearing up too.
*Shell, your talent is amazing, but your ‘compassion’ is what I’ll never forget.
She’ll be seeing a lot more of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Everyone needs to go see her, she is so worth supporting.

They are blocked by the company that comes in to give shots. While I love that they do that, I've encountered a few very rude workers for that company. I come to get the bones and move on. But I'm told to back up and wait so they can finish what they are doing. I get this but the rude way it's been said was uncalled for. I don't have all day to wait for the line to finish to be able to have my dogs and I get the bag of bones and go.

No other groomers have been able to get my samoyeds fur completely detangled and as floofy as it should be! Or get every last piece of husky coat blow out of our husky either. Our greyhound is easy but they made her coat even silkier than before. On top of all that my pups wanted snuggles from them before we left! They were happy to be with the groomers, that's when you know it's a good place, your pups are happy with them even after they've been groomed. My only regret is we didn't find them sooner!

8711 Sierra College Boulevard Suite 1, RosevilleThis vet clinic totally saved me. We live in Truckee and had an appointment for a health certificate to be able to bring our dog to Costa Rica. The day before the appointment and 4 days before we were to travel we found out our Truckee vet didn't do the official version we needed for travel. After frantically calling several clinics I got a hold of Sierra Ranch and the front desk person put me on the calendar for the very next day. When I arrived everybody was super helpful and kind. Of course the USDA website that the examination goes into for final approval was down so I left the vet with them assuring me they'd keep trying. That night at 845 I got a call from the vet who had just managed to submit and make it work. I can't say enough about how thoughtful they were and how much they went above and beyond.

We were greeted in the waiting room by a sign welcoming Gatsby by name. That was special. In addition, the front desk staff was welcoming and friendly.
We were soon ushered into the examing room. The vet tech was very professional in her handling of Gatsby, and she answered all our questions. Then Dr. Knapp came in, and she and Gatsby hit it off right away. Everything about our first visit left us feeling like Gatsby is going to be in good hands health-wise for a long time to come. We were impressed by everyone at the clinic, and we are happy to recommend this veterinary clinic to all pet owners.

I'm a retired vet tech and one of my places of work was at an animal eye clinic. So I know a little bit about eye ulcers and I wasn't sure he was going to be able to get it healed up, but he didn't give up and I'm so grateful. He also did everything that he could to keep the cost down for us. Again, we're so grateful. It's very obvious how much he and the staff care about each and every baby that comes to them.
And they take care of the owners too. Help to calm.

We have gone through a long illness with our German Shorthair Chevy who battled a stomach tumor that recently necessitated euthanizing him. Dr. Craig has been with us every step of the way helping us make him comfortable and preparing us for the inevitable. He very gently let us know when it was time, and when that heartbreaking day came, he and the staff were so caring towards Chevy and us. We then got a Truro donut ice cream thing. Yep, that was the cherry on top.
But honestly, Luis was the most gracious host, I have no doubt that he's the kind of guy who would save someone's dog from a fire and then thank them for the opportunity to provide a service to his neighborhood.

The fencing is solid and there are two separate sections for big and small dogs, which is nice. There are some benches in the shade and a few trees, though not a ton of seating if it gets busy. My dog loved the space but I had to watch him closely because there were a couple of dips and holes in the ground. One thing I would change is the lack of water access, we had to bring our own bottle with no refill station nearby. Pretty hot there in the middle of the day too, so its better to come early or later. Overall a good quiet spot for off leash time.
