I have banked with them for almost 25 years since they were Western Sierra Bank. That being said, the last year has been nothing but problems! They nickel and dime you for fee's, ridiculous overdraft fees, and the customer service has gone downhill by far! It's really disappointing, I have to say I am looking into changing banks to save money! ???

I want to share with everyone how wonderful Rosie and Shannon are at this location. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, professional and patient. Umpqua bank and this particular branch will continue to have my business because of these outstanding employees..

Things have really changed at this bank. I would think twice before working with them due to terrible customer service. Phone customer service is even worse. I've had better responses and better effort from from Wells Fargo, which I've refused to use since 2005... So to sum it up, after being a happy patron for 5 years, I've had a number of bad run-ins with them over the past 6 months and I'm beyond done. Karma follows companies too you know... If you are an investor, get out while you can... Nothing good here. (business and personal accounts)

This bank engages in deceptive banking practices. They wil find ways t charge you even after you catch their error. DO NOT BANK HERE. They pretend to put the customer first. I've got $500 for anyone who actually speaks to the president of Umpqua although they swear he's available immediately by phone. What garbage. Stay away from the douglas roseville location. They are terrible.

I really enjoy banking at this branch. I was transfered here when the Antelope branch closed last November. The staff are wonderful, caring and most helpful. I've been very happy with the way they have dealt with me and my business banking.

Trash bank horrible service. Zero quality in this bank. They charge 35$ to cancel a check be sure to bank with cash app they don't charge you fees unless you instantly deposit. You can cancel transactions for free. Oh and this bank takes advantage of older aged women .

A Once Fresh and Progressive Bank that has somehow evolved into a staid old Non-consumer-friendly bank (short inconsistent hours, ho-hum attitude, etc), Non-contact banking but no "eye-contact" as well? What happened?

I went in the bank to order a new card and 10 business days later I still hadn't received it. I called and they never ordered it...its now 15 days and I just received an email saying it just now shipped. Guess I am going on vacation without my card!

This is by far the worst bank. Difficult to het on the phone, lots of modern banking systems not in place, just not that great.Lived near one, now I don’t, I’m leaving soon.

I deposited a check at the atm and it read the check amount wrong so I went inside to see if they needed to make a note of it and they did or else it would've taken 2 weeks to get straightened out I was told. Very helpful. Also Frank Huck the loan guy here is very competent and professional. I've been communicating with him for a few months and he's very knowledgeable about the loan products available.

Some staff members are pleasant and ready to help, but they're part of a corporation that doesn't operate with transparency. I had to take extra time to visit a branch in-person because my account was flagged for latency and the form I mailed back to them wasn't accepted. (My signature had deteriorated too much to chicken scratch over the years despite several forms of legal ID.) The teller was apathetic about my presence. She eventually referred me to a desk associate who expressed more appreciation for my willingness to bank with Umpqua. She confirmed my account was active. After professionally and politely answering my questions, I learned that I could bring my account up to a certain balance and waive monthly maintenance fees. I was willing to "top up" my account. After moving and having my hardcopy statements forwarded to my new address, I learned that Umpqua Bank had continue to deduct monthly maintenance fees. When I visited the local branch, the desk associate said he wasn't aware of accounts that weren't charged monthly maintenance fees. Upon his own investigation, he said I was correct. However I couldn't have the backlog of monthly maintenance fees credited to me if I wanted to close my account today. Rather than waste more time and gas to return to another branch, I simply cut my losses short, closed out the account and took my money elsewhere. At least WF and BOA don't pretend to be about "people," "yoga," or whatever they think I want to hear is cool, I'll deal with the transparency of their greed any day!
