I opened my account in Arcadia but needed account information immediately that's why i just stopped at the Rowland Heights branch but instead of helping me she flat out told me to call my rep in Arcadia. CitiCorp, you better train your bankers better.

Worst customer service ever! The Asian lady sitting by the entrance showing her face to me like she was still in a bereavement leave. There are only few customers in the bank and she let me make an appointment for the service... I still wonder why the president obama bailed them out?

Called the 800 # today because I was charged for an overdraft and they representative says he can't see why I was charged because I have funds available. He says he will reverse the charge and comes back to the line to say it was declined. He kept apologizing and repeated the request to reverse the $34 is declined. Places me on hold and someone else picks up and says he didn't document anything! Unprofessional and ridiculous!!! So I'm supposed to just be ok that they took $34 joke!!

They should change the name to something else that sounds similar but not good . One of the tellers is just not enjoying her job or maybe I just don't like her. Tone very much not friendly and definitely not satisfied with her customer service skills. More focused on selling me on a credit card. Maybe try being nicer and answer my questions correctly. I deposited a check and asked if it will clear she said it is cleared. No it wasn't took 3 days to clear.

I called the Customer service to ask some questions, the lady and the interpreter were very helpful and polite, But when they transferred me to Rowland hts branch, the woman answered the phone was very impatient and rude, and when I asked her name, she just hanged up the phone! I can't believe it and feel very upset about the bad service that I never experienced in any other banks before. I'm going to close the bank account and tell all my friends and relatives not going there at all!

I made an appointment online and showed up on time. A lady at first desk near the door asked if I have an appointment and my name. After she verified with me, she asked me to sit in front of her desk and she was going to provide her service. After some irrelevant questions, she found out she serve the wrong customer. Turned out my banker did not come to work on that day. The moment she found out she served the wrong customer, all she did was to ask us come another time or try another bank. She didn't even bother to help us make another appointment and she act like it's the other banker's problem and it's not her business. She kept saying that her scheduled customer is coming. Horrible service. Too bad I didn't remember her name. I should go again and update here. She should be trained properly. If my banker took the day off, an notification should be sent via email, texts or call. It's totally wrong and wasting my time.

My husband went in to the Rowland Heights branch to pay a bill and he was mistreated by their staff. One of the staff had the audacity to tell him that he was rude (twice) because he stood a respectable distance away while she made lunch plans with a co-worker. The majority of the staff are Asian and treated him like he was out of place being Hispanic in their bank. Guess what? You have to punch a clock just like the rest of us, who, by the way, pay your wage! I will Never do business with Citibank again or their entitled employees. MINUS ZERO STARS!

Citibank violated the laws by constantly announcing my account balance and transaction amounts in front of all the customers and the public. Customers' account information is confidential and protected by Laws. Tellers should never release the account balance and transaction information to the public without account holders' consent. STAY AWAY. Dd NOT conduct business with Citibank.

I am really happy about the service that I had in Citibank yesterday especially with Fion Kan. I want to open a bank account so I keep calling to different banks. Keep calling , keep waiting. I don't know why nobody pick the phone... so I called Citibank, call got picked up really fast and her name is Fion Kan. I told her I want to open a bank account, she told me what kind of document that and schedule an appointment for me. Yesterday, I brought all my documents and she is really fast and polite. It only takes about 30 minutes to get all my stuff done. She explained everything to me and has patience to answer all my questions. I am very satisfied with her service. I think I will keep asking for her service every time when I go to Citibank.

I regret coming here yesterday. We saw they had a cash bonus promotion for new accounts, so we dropped by the bank at this location to open some. The girl who was helping me said her name was Tiffany, but in the email she sent me it's Fion Kan. She was very rude, cold, and unwelcoming. My husband just wanted to open new accounts, and I didn't see anything wrong with it since he's a returning client. She really gave us a hard time because his address in W-2 was different with our home address. We moved to a new house, but the payroll department did not update our new address. She asked for all sorts of paperwork, but we luckily had a whole folder of tax returns for 2018 and 2017. She asked me for the property tax bill in 2019. When I asked my daughter to email it to me, she changed her mind and said it's not required. Eventually, after a while, she managed to finish my husband's accounts by using one of our old addresses as in form W-2 (not our current one). When moving onto my accounts, she redid the whole hostile interrogation as she did to my husband, and even called her manager to talk to us. I just couldn't stand her attitude anymore, so I told her to forget the whole thing without making any deposit. Then, we left. Later that afternoon, we came back after having lunch. My husband just wanted to deposit money into the accounts he thought that were already opened in the morning. We even received an email from City bank to confirm and congratulate him. To my surprise, the same girl, Tiffany/Fion, approached us and told us that "it's closed, it's done, it's shredded, you told me to cancel everything, so I did", gesturing wildly. I told her to start the procedure again since we still wanted the bonus. She said that we were not allowed to open anything anymore after we closed it, then walked away. I was so upset, I insisted to talk to the branch manager. Then she came back. By law, after an account is opened, we have 7 days to deposit money. After 7 days, if we don't deposit, the account will be automatically closed. I told her that I knew about the law, and she better do something about it. She then talked to the same branch manager, took out a paper my husband signed this morning from a big trash container (behind the bank tellers) that she was supposed to shred if his account was cancelled, then agreed for him to make a deposit. She even lied to us, saying that we were lucky that the manager did not cancel the account yet. Anyway, we will never set foot into this branch again after such a horrible experience with that girl. I don't understand why Fion/Tiffany is still working there, even after so many bad reviews about her for a long time.

The only thing that perform in this branch is their air conditioner. The entire branch looks very low energy and filled out with unprofessional staff.

I've been to other banking institution throughout the years and this Citibank branch in Rowland Heights is by far the best. They handle my businesses and personal banking flawlessly. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable management. Five star rating!!!

Citibank is horrible. I hate Citibank. On February 6, 2019, I went to Citibank cancel my account. The teller gave me a paper to sign and cancel it. It close at $0 balance. On February 27, 2019, Citibank sent a notice to tell me charged $4.50 bank service fee. Citibank is greedy and looks like they want to get more money from people even they cancel an account already. It looks like they don't have enough customers and then want more money from previous customers. Citibank makes me feel disappointed and uncomfortable. That's why I never do direct deposit and bill pay with Citibank. I will go again to argue with them. Make sure everything is clear. I would not bank with Citibank anymore. I will tell everyone don't bank with Citibank. Citibank is the worst bank that I went. I would rather bank with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is the best. I do almost everything with Wells Fargo, such as direct deposit, bill pay, mobile banking and credit card. Everyone should go Wells Fargo. Don't go Citibank.
