“It's an older complex, but still works okay. It has indoor and outdoor places for vendors, decent parking (but too much $15) buses that pick and drop you off, food and drinks, and bathrooms where they are needed, and the complex is near the freeway.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree Hotel in Claremont. From the moment I walked in the door, the entire staff bent over backwards to accommodate me in every way, starting with Tony at the front desk who thoroughly reminded me what hospitality is all about. After I checked into my room, I went down to sign up for the Hilton Rewards membership. Trisha went out of her way to help me with that. After she signing me up she even gave me another cookie, which I might add are probably about the best cookies I have ever had lol. The property and grounds are amazingly well kept, with beautiful Arboretum style landscaping, and I had a great view right over the pool. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and it is obvious everyone takes pride in maintaining every bit of this property. I will definitely return soon.”

“The rooms are clean and the cleaning lady’s appear to work very hard. The front staff was easy to work with even with the guy I worked with being in training. He seems to be friendly and kind. The breakfast area was not bad but having some more proteins available to eat instead of all carbs would have been nice. There are some updates that need to be done as the age of the place shows but as mentioned before it smelled very clean in the common areas. The sleep times was disabled on my television and I like to fall asleep to the tv so it was disappointing. My family and extended family were all in town for a funeral and we took over the place. Nobody had any complaints. The landscaping was clean and the pool appeared to be in good shape. Overall I would stay here again and I encourage you to give it a shot.”

The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a Denny’s restaurant nearby, a gas station, a Mexican restaurant, and a small strip mall within walking distance. Additionally, a nearby convenience store provides snacks and other essentials.

The room I occupied was spacious and well-appointed. It featured two queen-sized beds and two large windows, which provided a sense of openness and brightness. However, it is important to note that the windows are sealed and locked, requiring a special key for opening. This restriction limits the ability to enjoy fresh air, except when operating the air conditioning.

The beds were comfortable, and the room layout was practical. Corner rooms ending in 29, 26, 01, or 02 tend to be more spacious. If you are seeking the largest room, consider booking a room ending in 29.

The room amenities include a mini refrigerator, a safe, and a coffee/tea station. The coffee station offers a variety of coffee options, including Brazil Regular and Decaf from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, as well as Chamomile and English Breakfast teas. Additionally, a full setup of Coffee Mate, Equal, Cafe Delight sugar, stir sticks, and cup sleeves is provided, similar to those found at Starbucks. The coffee machine and selection were of high quality, and the station even included five cups of coffee.

A complimentary “temptation” bottle of water is provided to Hilton Diamond, Gold, and Silver members. Non-members will incur a $2 charge.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean, modernized, and equipped with a walk-in shower, which I believe is significantly superior to a hotel bathtub. The bathroom is stocked with Crabtree & Evelyn products, including a bottle of body lotion and bar soap. Additionally, a complimentary makeup remover wipe is provided, which is a thoughtful gesture. Furthermore, the room features two mirrors: one standard and one backlit for makeup application or close-up grooming.

The overall lighting in the room was contemporary and elegant. Built-in bedside reading lights were a convenient and appreciated touch. However, it is worth noting that the hallway ceiling immediately upon entering the room is relatively low. While I, being six feet tall, was unaffected, individuals taller than six feet seven inches may need to be cautious.

The front desk attendant who handled my check-in was exceptionally kind and amiable, exuding genuine warmth and friendliness. The establishment also offers luggage storage, which is particularly useful for early or late arrivals who prefer not to carry their luggage around.

The waffle was exceptional. The steak was satisfactory, although someone in my group ordered it and it was slightly overdone. Nevertheless, the effort made in preparing the dish was evident. I commend the staff for their dedication, even when the food did not meet my expectations fully.

I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this establishment. The spacious room, well-stocked amenities, and ideal location near the freeway make it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. If the windows could be made slightly more openable, even by a crack, the rating would undoubtedly be five stars.

As a suggestion, if you seek an exceptionally spacious setup, consider requesting a corner room ending in 29. However, it is advisable to inquire about a room not directly adjacent to the elevator.”

“There was a nasty smell to the room like it wasn’t open in forever. The sheets were dirty and pillow cases stained. The roches, I was in there for 30 minutes and had to leave. The lady wouldn’t even refund me!! Never Never staying in one of those things again!!

I called to change the date ,said it was done.when we arrived date had not been changed. being upset ,I spoke to the manager and he went above and beyond to accommodate us.when I got home I discovered I had been charged as a no show. I went round and round with corporate office. I finally spoke to the manager and he took care of it. The manager of this hotel is an honest and fair person to work with, I will definitely share this hotel with family and friends.”
