She was also very knowledgeable about the local area and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. “Motel 6 is an excellent place. They staff is very helpful, respectful, kind, and just makes it feel like a breath of fresh air when you walk in. Their rooms are nice sizes and very clean. The worker who checked us in this afternoon Alejandra G. And their worker Melina are amazing, nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend for others to stay. “I liked this stay a lot, the breakfast was good, the service amazing, the building is getting old and we couldn't closed the bathroom door so we didn't fully us our bathroom and had to go downstairs (we had kids with us).”
“It's an older complex, but still works okay. It has indoor and outdoor places for vendors, decent parking (but too much $15) buses that pick and drop you off, food and drinks, and bathrooms where they are needed, and the complex is near the freeway.”

“We stayed here for our uncles 90th birthday. There are a lot of things nearby. As we all know or should know, nothing in LA is close. almost everything is an hour away. This area has some nearby options that make your stay more convenient. The Hotel itself is pretty clean even though its a bit dated. The staff was friendly. The breakfast is good and the parking is ok. seems like a pretty safe location.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree Hotel in Claremont. From the moment I walked in the door, the entire staff bent over backwards to accommodate me in every way, starting with Tony at the front desk who thoroughly reminded me what hospitality is all about. After I checked into my room, I went down to sign up for the Hilton Rewards membership. Trisha went out of her way to help me with that. After she signing me up she even gave me another cookie, which I might add are probably about the best cookies I have ever had lol. The property and grounds are amazingly well kept, with beautiful Arboretum style landscaping, and I had a great view right over the pool. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and it is obvious everyone takes pride in maintaining every bit of this property. I will definitely return soon.”

“Looking for a pad near Disneyland? Holiday Inn Express Fullerton is so close you could yeet a Mickey-shaped pretzel and hit the castle. Their shuttle? It’s like a magic carpet ride, zipping you to the park faster than you can scream ‘I lost my FastPass!
Breakfast is solid—think waffles that don’t taste like sadness and enough coffee to make you buzz like Buzz Lightyear on a bender. It’s not gourmet, but it’ll power you through a day of dodging strollers and overpriced turkey legs.
The rooms? Cleaner than Snow White’s cottage after the dwarves discovered Lysol. Beds comfier than a nap in the Tiki Room, and not a single creepy stain to make you wonder if the last guest was auditioning for CSI: Anaheim.

“Evening staff and cook at the bar/ restaurant area are AMAZING and deserve a raise!!! Entire stay was great, giving the rooms 4 out of 5 stars due to no microwave in the room, other than that, we had a great stay!
Rooms: Rooms are clean, with a mini fridge, unfortunately, no microwave.
Food and drinks: Restaurant and bar inside is GREAT, cook and staff are AMAZING in the evening! Hats off to the cook, she takes pride in her job of serving fresh, hot quality food! Bar staff also provides exceptional service to guests!!!
Noteworthy details: This is the only hotel that I've encountered that has AC in the hallways and a FRESH smell, 99% of all other hotel hallways are hot and smell bad. This is very surprising and refreshing to know that they make an effort to maintain ALL areas, not just the rooms.”

“I stayed for a week in July, and it was genuinely the BEST motel i’ve ever stayed at. The owner was incredibly nice, let me check in early, and always gave me something when asked. I wish I could post the video of the room I took because of how amazed I was. Cafes and shops are nearby and within walking distance too. If I come back, I will DEFINITELY choose this motel again.

“I’ve been here a couple times and I will definitely keep coming! The staff is so generous and welcoming. You get a complementary water bottle from the owner. Jay definitely knows how to run his business and is very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The motel rooms were remodeled. It is very modern with grey walls and grey wood floors, better than any hotels I have been too like Holiday Inn or Days Inn. Exceptional. It felt like I was in a remodeled home bedroom. Thank you Jay for your superb management and I look forward to seeing you again!”

“This inn was nicer than I expected. The first room that they gave me smelled like smoke. I advised them about it, and they gave me a better room. Everything was clean and in good working condition. I enjoyed my air conditioning and large room with a kitchenette. It was a good deal. The front desk staff was nice to me and upon my request, helped me button up my dress. I really love all of the plants around the inn. It was quiet. Parking was easy. I recommend staying here. I was in town for a friend's party. It was a perfect place to stay and a great price. I felt safe staying there alone as a woman.”

2nd lee, it's a low in a good location, close to Tacos Los Cholos in Fullerton, Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center.
Room: central air only, felt like 73°F for the most part, it has a 1970s vibe with a sprinkle of modernized touches.
There were some people under the stairs and kinda hanging about. Went for a walk around 10pm, when I saw the people. Called front desk, told them and when I returned 15 min later, they were gone because the night shift attendant had told them to leave.
It's worth it, not being $100+ for a weekday.”

Pros: complementary breakfast, omelette bar, lobby was well kept, clean and organized. Staff was polite and professional, showers had hot water and good pressure
Cons: a lot of work went into the lobby or general area, but the rooms lacked decor, style or anything to make it feel like home, with only lamps as main lighting made rooms very dark feeling
Overall, had a good stay and would recommend”
