Elizabeth Spencer Winery is the realization of a dream by a husband and wife team, where their belief that wine should be delicious, inviting, and representative of its place of origin is evident in every bottle they make. Balanced, elegant, and approachable, their wines are made from grapes grown in Northern California's finest wine regions, focusing on Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast, and Mendocino. Since their inaugural vintage in 1998, the winery has worked with a prestigious network of vineyard growers to farm and produce premium, small-production wines from the very best vineyards in Northern California. The historic, 1872 brick Post Office building in Rutherford, CA has served as their tasting room since 2000. Visitors to the winery are greeted by a gorgeous courtyard with nicely set up seating in the back, and can enjoy a Signature Tasting Flight or a Reserve Flight Tasting. The wines, ranging from Pinot Noir to Sauvignon Blanc, have been described as excellent, with the Carneros Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon being particular favorites. The winery's staff is known for their exceptional knowledge, friendliness, and welcoming attitude, making it a great experience for all who visit.

Love visiting this winery when we are in the area great atmosphere delicious wines and great people always a treat I was also lucky enough to have been invited to one of their new release party's which was held in their lovely patio and I had such a nice experience highly recommended

Great service - exceptional knowledge and service. Tasting was $50 per person with approximately 1oz pours. Wines were super yummy and area/gardens wete cute!
