Archival Gallery, located in Sacramento since 1983, is owned by D. Oldham Neath, a prominent figure in the local arts community for over four decades. She is a co-founder of Second Saturday, has managed the Solomon Dubnick Gallery, and served as president of the Center for Contemporary Art. D. has also been active as the Art Curator for KVIE Public Television and supports fundraising for the Artists in Crisis Fund. Known as The Art Lady, she often appears on Good Day Sacramento to share arts stories across Northern California. The gallery is praised for its excellent taste, welcoming atmosphere, and strong connections to the local art scene. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, especially Athena, who provides helpful framing services. The intimate space offers a surprising sense of expansion as visitors view the art, making it a great place to spend time. Overall, Archival Gallery is considered one of the best art destinations in Sacramento, with a vibrant community and high-quality art.
Archival Gallery is my go-to place for local art by amazing artists and the best framing for all my framing needs!

Archival Gallery is the best art gallery in Sacramento. The owner D has excellent taste and years of experience working with the best artists. The artist receptions there are a fun party and the people who attend are like family to me now.

I perceived through a narrow entry a small space. But as I viewed the art on the wall the wall itself grew. It lengthened. A good place to spend a good part of the afternoon.
