“I've been to many plant shops and nurseries within an hour or two of the area, and for indoor plants, nobody beats Public Land. Everything is so well propagated, pruned, trained, and cared for. It comes at a slight premium but for me its worth it to have plants that start out at peak health by the time I bring them home. Vibe of the shop is awesome, staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, and the plants and gallery space have great style. Thanks Neil who helped me yesterday, sorry if I spelled your name wrong. Will definitely be back!”
“This is the best frame shop I have had the awesome experience of ever going to in years of getting things framed. They framed a keepsake that was badly damaged and did not just an outstanding job; but a miraculous one. R and M Framing does absolutely perfect framing & for what they charge, the value cannot be compared. My husband was ecstatic when I took home the keepsake I had framed for him. I can't thank them enough. And you won't either when they do work for you. I wish I could have given them countless stars; they made me so happy. Thank you R and M Framing for the job expertly done!”
“Broad Room is a great place to donate new and unfinished art supplies including yarn, fabric, paint, and more. They do a really great job with redistributing supplies for free. You can sign up for an appointment to shop for free supplies or donate or both. Appointments take a little time to schedule because the whole place is volunteer run. Volunteer if you can, this place is a gem in Sacramento!”
“Fantastic gallery with a curated, modern vibe. The custom framing is top-tier and precise craftsmanship, a great selection of high-quality materials, and expert design advice. Professional service and a beautiful space. Highly recommend for any art lover or collector!”
“I'm still new to getting tattoos but my guy Manny absolutely killed my sleeve. Constantly getting compliments so I'm recommending this spot to anyone who listens. Super chill spot. I came in with a couple tats In mind and He developed a story for me”
“Jessica (White) Bernhart has done BOTH of my large Disney inspired work, and let me tell you what.....this girls imagination and her love of color and art is AH-mazing! I still everyday have someone ask "incredible Ink....can I ask who is the artist?' I am 'itching terribly' to get another Villain on my right forearm! Let's do it again Jess and Corey.”
“For people interested in seeing the photographic arts in all of its varied forms and styles, Viewpoint is a great place to visit. Its free monthly, changing exhibits in two gallery spaces will showcase landscape, portraiture, street, still life, abstract, alternative processes, composites and mixed media from artists around the world.
Every new exhibit will have a reception to allow you to talk to the artists directly. You can also browse the portfolio drawers of local artists to see additional photographic works.
Viewpoint also has regular photography lectures and workshops. Their regular workshops are reasonably priced and taught by professionals. Every April, it hosts Sacramento’s Photography Month along with other visual arts organizations.
Not only is this the best place to see photographic artwork in the Sacramento area, if you are a photographer, you can submit your work for one of the 11 shows that they have each year.”
“Dropped by around closing but enjoyed the visit. Really great little art gallery. If you're around Sacramento it's definitely a great place to check out.”
“Had a great experience with Mickey! He came out and measured both of our windows himself outside and in to get the proper measurements and then had us come pick up colors in the studio. He is very reasonably priced.”

“A lovely master clock repairman who will share his knowledge on an occasional basis to any intelligent interested person who wishes to learn the trade. He is sincere and professional. He will do the best job he possibly can to fix your clock.”
“Ive always loved the products here, especially the vault. This time, we had difficulty finding the prices. For one item, we had to use our phone and take a picture of the price tag. We know Disney collectibles will be expensive, and we have bought them before. I dont want the in-store experience to be less than the online one.
The souveneirs are priced well, and there is a good selection.
It is always fun to see the new products and collectibles. The artists are fantastic.”
“This is an awesome place to chill.
There is a rug shop, a Clothing retailer, an alteration shop, a comic book and vinyl record shop, a restaurant and a coffee shop. There are also artists who are featured every couple of weeks or so on the walls.
Don't forget to check out first Fridays every month.”
“I've driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop by. I finally had a chance when I needed an old printdocument framed. Athena helped me and she was amazing. She grabbed a few different mats and frame types based on the prints colors. Within a few combinations, she nailed it. It looks amazing on the wall. I'll be back for more framing in the very near future.”
“EVERYONE IS WELCOME! What I love most about the Washington Neighborhood Center is that no matter your background, you feel not only accepted but deemed a valuable member of the community when you walk in. The center has an array of offerings from workshops to classes and wellness-centered activities. It truly is a center for the community to enjoy. I have attended a Cacao workshop there wherein we learned about the origins of cacao and did some cacao tasting. It was so RAD!! It was attended by not only indigenous people but people of all backgrounds and races. This feels like a peaceful place where people can safely learn from each other. I hosted a class on grief there as well! As a teacher, it was an easy process to reserve the space. The staff was incredibly accommodating and even provided water for everyone in the workshop. They even helped me load up my car at the end of it! The environment/vibes are off the charts. Can't express enough that this is a great spot to conduct experiences and experience. Go make some memories here!!”
“This place is simply magical! I had my fathers 50th birthday for 50 people and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Marci and Eliza are wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful. Soft lights, plenty of space for a DJ, beautiful courtyard for some fresh air, unique character in every corner of the room! I will definitely use this space again in the future and highly recommend Antiquity for anyone looking for unique, well located, magical venue!”
“What else can I say? The #1 of a limited series bronze "Guardian" Eagles (Currently handled by Ronnie and Joey and their extraordinary team of artisans ) at Frostad Atelier.I will be overseeing the lightweight concrete and epoxy resin versions coming up quickly.”
“Went here to take class of stone lithography printing. That phrase may be redundant, but I learned a lot, had a good time, and left with a print I made from start to finish. The Verge has all kinds of art classes, as well as temporary exhibitions in their gallery.”

“This store is absolutely FAB!!! Greg and Mike have helped me and many of my family members find the perfect piece of jewelry. The quality is high, the selection is incredible, and the service is above and beyond. Greg walked with us every step of the way as we tried on many pieces, and he used his expertise to suggest the perfect piece to go with my dress for a wedding. He knows his gems, his history, and he even recommended us to a great jewelry re-sizing shop. Support local business and treat yourself to a piece from this shop!!”

“Super interesting space and awesome rooftop garden. I attended an event here hosted by a local organization, and despite a little wind, the roof had one of my favorite evening views of the city I've seen.”
“Shannon is an amazingly talented glass-blower. She also teaches if you are interested in learning. While I have not taken a class, I have been in the studio when she is working and it is an inspiring process to watch. If you are wanting some glass art for your home have a look at what she has to offer.”
“I love coming here every so often for stones and jewelry. It’s a little disappointing that prices have gone up quite a bit on most items, and the geode selection is so much smaller than about 6-7 months ago. I honestly felt like the whole stone section was different and underwhelming too.”
