“I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Everything Tyler has done with this store and brand, has been done the right way. It’s cool, but unpretentious. It’s high-quality, but affordable. It’s nostalgic, but not cheesy. It’s kind of everything Sacramento is so if you are from here, shop here. If you are visiting, shop here. Thanks for continuing to make great stuff and always caring about your customers!”

“I was having trouble getting a quote for the fraMing of my three-piece painting until I went into Artistic edge and spoke with Kathy. She patiently helped me select the frame and David did a masterful job of building the frame. I highly recommend Artistic Edge.”

“Verge is the best art venue in this town. They're a part of Second Saturday, offer classes, exhibits, and a studio space for artists. The list goes on and on. It's locally owned and operated with wonderful people and an open environment. Highly recommended.”

“I've driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop by. I finally had a chance when I needed an old printdocument framed. Athena helped me and she was amazing. She grabbed a few different mats and frame types based on the prints colors. Within a few combinations, she nailed it. It looks amazing on the wall. I'll be back for more framing in the very near future.”

“The Brickhouse Gallery Art Museum is home for me. There is a warm welcoming feeling once you walk in. The history behind Everett & Jones BBQ goes back to the 60’s 70’s when family roots show you the way. The Gallery displays pictures of the beginning of what’s to come. The family tree of Love… If you have deep roots and want a vibe go there and catch one.”

“EVERYONE IS WELCOME! What I love most about the Washington Neighborhood Center is that no matter your background, you feel not only accepted but deemed a valuable member of the community when you walk in. The center has an array of offerings from workshops to classes and wellness-centered activities. It truly is a center for the community to enjoy. I have attended a Cacao workshop there wherein we learned about the origins of cacao and did some cacao tasting. It was so RAD!! It was attended by not only indigenous people but people of all backgrounds and races. This feels like a peaceful place where people can safely learn from each other. I hosted a class on grief there as well! As a teacher, it was an easy process to reserve the space. The staff was incredibly accommodating and even provided water for everyone in the workshop. They even helped me load up my car at the end of it! The environment/vibes are off the charts. Can't express enough that this is a great spot to conduct experiences and experience. Go make some memories here!!”

“I found this spot when I was visiting Sacramento. At first, it looks like a random building but once you step inside the atmosphere changed. There's some cool shops -- a vinyl records store, a couple clothing stores, and a restaurant. I think there's more to it but when I went the stores were closing. However, it's worth a visit.”

“Free gallery. It's like a small museum that rotates photography. Very interesting and enjoyed looking at all photos. They were doing local talent when I came in. Definitely, got some ideas. Also, many of the prints are available for purchase.”

“Had a great experience with Mickey! He came out and measured both of our windows himself outside and in to get the proper measurements and then had us come pick up colors in the studio. He is very reasonably priced.”

“Went for a Saturday brunch on a rainy day. We had a reservation and were sat immediately in the upstairs lounge. The energy in Solomon's is radiant and nostalgia overload in a good way. With deli and diner classics but with a twist there are lots of good options. I had the chicken and French toast which I loved the alternative to waffle. It was so fresh and we'll seasoned. My partner ordered the breakfast sando and it hit the spot for comfort and flavor. Lots of vinyl on the walls and a live dj pay a great homage to the tower record store it once was. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We will be back again soon for sure.”

“Stage Nine has to be on your list when visiting Old Sac! I've always loved browsing here since I discovered this store 13 years ago. My favorite has always been the corner where they display all types of Disney-related artwork. On my most recent visit, I noticed they've elevated their offerings - they had so many Disney and Loungefly merchandise! Don't skip out on The Underground Vault! They have the coolest items down there and we even saw commissioned Disney x Sacramento artwork. They had several pieces on sale, but you can spend a good 30 minutes down there just browsing. This store is such a treat for the eyes!”

“I cannot express how truly special this shop and its owners are. Both Mike and Greg are extremely knowledgeable about their collection and have impeccable taste, curating the most interesting vintage art and jewelry. The shopping experience is welcoming and never feels pushy in terms of sales. Most recently- my partner and I stopped into their shop to get some advice about a vintage ring we had purchased from an antique fair. We were hoping to use this as an engagement ring and were a bit lost in terms of our options to replace the stone with something unique while also maintaining the vintage aesthetic of the 1940's piece. Greg, the resident gemologist spent nearly an hour (or maybe more) educating us on different stones and helped us narrow down our search. He even recommended to my boyfriend to repurpose the current stone for a pair of diamond earrings to make a three piece set (total win for me haha). If you are in the mood to do some GREAT shopping and learn a little along the way, 100/10 recommend Mike & Greg's Antiques and Collectibles.”

“I absolutely love this place. It is so much fun to visit and look at all the clocks. I brought in two clocks today for repair work and they were fixed right on the spot. Since it was Valentine's Day, I bought myself a beautiful wall clock. I highly recommend this place. The service is great and you can't beat the prices. The Clock Shop is definitely one of Sacramento's treasures.”

“Super interesting space and awesome rooftop garden. I attended an event here hosted by a local organization, and despite a little wind, the roof had one of my favorite evening views of the city I've seen.”

“Shannon is an amazingly talented glass-blower. She also teaches if you are interested in learning. While I have not taken a class, I have been in the studio when she is working and it is an inspiring process to watch. If you are wanting some glass art for your home have a look at what she has to offer.”
