Best Western Capital City Inn offers a generally clean and functional stay. The rooms are typically clean and well-kept, with firm beds and working appliances like the television, refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioner. The pool area is clean and the property feels safe. Staff are described as acceptably welcoming and fair in service. However, the experience can be inconsistent. Some guests report significant issues like a malfunctioning and loud air conditioner requiring a room change. The hot tub is frequently broken and not clearly advertised as out of service online, which has caused disappointment. The property shows some wear, with outdated common areas and furniture in need of replacement. The free breakfast is viewed as basic and mediocre, with limited protein options, though it is sufficient. While the pairing of value to price is sometimes good, others feel the stay is not worth the money, especially when amenities are unavailable.
They are getting rid of the hot tub. The desk people first told us we could check in at noon, then got there at noon and told us 2pm instead. Rooms are nice, though.

I got grossed out. There was a dangerous hazardous environment for my 3 kids and their mom in yhe room we got. There was what seemed to be splattered blood on the ceiling, and on some furniture. I don't have an idea what went on in there only that they didn't sanitized the room and evidence enough.
