“The Element is wonderful. I have been here two times and so far a flawless experience! The rooms are wonderful and spacious with a great kitchenette a great touch. Next the breakfast, I have seen commercials about IHG breakfast and it turns out they are true! This was the best hotel breakfast I have found in this price range with options for everyone including a yogurt bar. I was feeling like the kids in the commercial if you know what I mean! Anyway my point is IHG please hire me for your commercial🤣😆”

“Delightful experience. We were surprised with the amount and variety of complimentary snacks provided with our stay. Breakfast items were freshly made and it was nice to have a cafe within the hotel so no visit outside to find food is necessary. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, not a single complaint. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and gym had new equipment in great working order. We had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!!!”

“Business stay. Clean and modern hotel. Food was excellent and the service friendly. Gym was great — I loved the addition of a Peloton bike. My only gripe is that I’m not a fan of Keurig coffee machines; I’d much prefer to see Nespresso. Otherwise, an excellent stay — I’ll definitely be back!”

Linda remembered me every morning and made sure I was taken care of. Housekeeping staff was super sweet and understanding for me staying in the same room again and again. Location and views are amazing, I wish id had time to explore. Next time!”

“This place was very nice, we stayed in a 2 bedroom. We had 3 tvs and a kitchen, free HBO, breakfast was great. It was clean and cozy. Maintenence came in 30 seconds when the internet rv wasn't quite working on one of the tvs, great service!”

“Our stay at the Kimpton Sawyer was phenomenal. Every single staff member that we encountered was so kind and friendly!!! Upon pulling up, the valet was incredibly helpful by getting our doors, offering luggage help, and setting our car up. The agent that checked us in, Nick, I believe, was very kind, easy to talk to, and gave us all the information we needed, without us even needing to ask!
The accounting manager (I forgot her name sadly) at social hour was so sweet and fun to talk to! Then Emily, the morning agent was amazing and very helpful/generous as well.
The surf and turf meal & the Korean drumsticks at Revival were soooo yummy. The mocktail at social hour was also a perfect refreshing summery drink, and the shrimp cocktail bite was a cherry on top. The gym was great and spacious. Our room was so impressive as well. Simple and SO clean in terms of both housekeeping and the design! All of the public areas we walked through were pristine, clean, & well kept.
I work front desk at another Kimpton hotel, and I can’t lie that I feel like I have high standards when I visit other Kimptons, and this one met all of my expactations and more!!
The location of this Kimpton is also perfect - very walkable, lively, clean, and right in the middle of many restaurants & bars.
(Pro tip - if you’re visiting, you MUST take the 7-8 minute walk down the street to Burnside Coffee!!!! Best coffee shop I have ever visited and I’m a coffee snob. Their A2 whole milk lattes are to die for and their food is so clean, healthy, & delicious.)
We cannot wait to be back at this Kimpton!!”

As someone that travels by Motorcycle, I look for certain conveniences in this place had it all. Plenty of food choices to walk to, an amazing outdoor pool and hot tub with long hours. And directly off the highway. Even when under construction, this place was fabulous. I do really appreciate how great the front desk staff was.”

“Amazing stay....everything about the Westin Sacramento was great. The rear rooms have beautiful river views of the Sacramento River, which made the stay super relaxing. The large soaking tubs were a major plus, and the outdoor fireplace at the pool lounge was such a nice touch.
Having the spa on the first floor and Scott’s Seafood right across the courtyard made everything super convenient, and being right on the river really tops it off. Peaceful, scenic, and a great vibe overall.
Huge shout-out to the manager.... I watched her train staff overnight and still stay through the day shift, all while keeping a positive, welcoming attitude. That kind of dedication really shows in the service‼️✨️”

“My wife and I were sent to Motel 6 by my company when arriving we were having second thoughts of the area, but to no avail after meeting with friend guest services clerk I had a better feeling of the motel. The room new like it was just remodeled. The bed was great, slept like a baby.
There is also a Dennys and a Mexican restaurant with in walking distance.
My 4 star is cause area a little run down but not as bad as some other areas we've been.
Like what there doing with the improvements.
The room rates are definitely worth the stay.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days. The service was lovely and a special thank you to Jo who helped us with our AC unit when it stopped working properly. We also tried the breakfast on our last day there and happy with the food. It was pretty decent!
We both enjoyed our stay and were incredibly happy with our room. There were two issues that we noted, but weren't too problematic; 1. the bathroom sink was slowly clogging up, and 2. the ice bucket had mold in it. Besides that, we had an amazing experience here!”

“Rooms are clean and cleaned daily if you wish. Staff was professional and accommodating, although hard to find at times.
There is some noise, but it's not unbearable and only on weekends. It's safe, safe, safe for children and elderly alike. Taco Bell, Carls Jr., McDonald's Starbucks all literally across the street. Also, a full scale grocery one block from the hotel.
Worth the money, would stay again.”

“The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The parking is included and there is enough to accommodate. The location is ideal. Close enough for visiting places within 10 minutes drive.
There are fridges and AC for a comfortable visit.
There is a free breakfast offered. We met the hardest working and welcoming staff named Bessie. Even if breakfast isn't your thing, stop by and grab a coffee. She made our waffles for us and kept the breakfast items stocked for visitors for 2 hours straight.
We particularly enjoyed her visitor focused and enthusiastic service. Thanks Bessie for the wonderful breakfast and your work ?”

“I like the service that they have when they when you get there and you check into your room. Like 30 minutes later, they'll call you make sure everything's okay with your room. I like that. Also, the other thing I like is the shampoos and conditioners in the shower but they are not in a secure container. So anybody could put anything in there. That's what I didn't like. I liked the idea but I don't like that. It's not in a secure container location. It's really bad, but what are you gonna do? It's Richard's boulevard, they're cleaning it up and it's taken a while. But hopefully it will get there a lot. Traffic noise better than that. It was okay a lot of in and out. But again, it's a hotel, what are you gonna do other than that? It was good could do better with the mattress other than that.I need a coffee maker in the room, and I would have gave him maybe five stars”
“Update. Dec 2025. Quiet location with i 80 freeway ramp a couple blocks away. Quiet location with little traffic nearby. Clean and nice room. Everything was in order. Pleasent staff that were helpful if needed.
Clean room and quiet. Near the freeway and Cal Expo but I didn't notice any noise that prevented me from sleeping. AAA rates. Starbucks franchise in the lobby.. I would stay here again.”
