“We had a two room suite with a kitchen. It had been recently remodeled. The materials used were and will become problematic. The new flooring was loose in a few places. The tile in the kitchen was impossible to not mark up and the granite countertop had a 2' long crack in it at the sink which had been filled.The breakfast buffet was good in the morning. In the evening we had our free drinks at the lounge. The lobby is freshly remodeled and is nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.The location is odd. You enter a strip mall then drive out of it down a narrow road to the complex. It is not obvious and without Google maps it would have proven much more difficult.”

“Great place to stay. We arrived late and the hosts greeted us, gave us a nice welcome, very nice people. The hotel was very peaceful. The neighborhood felt very safe, especially compared to chain hotels in the middle of town. Check in and out was easy and instructions were clear. Muffins in lobby and restaurant up the road, coffee and fridge in room. All amenities worked nicely and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again anytime were passing through.”

“Overall, was a pleasant stay. Easy access from the freeway. All staff were very kind and nice to interact with; they were all VERY friendly. The room was pretty average but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom very modern. Only challenge was the thermostat stopped working and I had to bundle up to fall asleep. The highlight: Revival is a nice place to grab a drink and sit around the firepit.Safety: They lock all the doors to the building after a certain hour.”

I can't speak to the price, because my work handled the booking.What I can say is the hotel is conveniently located in midtown, within walking distance of the State Capitol, several government agency buildings and the Sacramento Convention Center, among other places. There are several restaurants and bars in walking distance.My room, a one room suite was clean and comfortable.I used the fitness center on the second floor which was pretty well stocked.”

“The hotel is conveniently located right off Interstate 5, only a short drive to downtown Sacramento. The surrounding area might seem sketchy however the hotel ground are absolutely safe. Also, free continental breakfast is good and very useful. And, love the bird in the lobby!”

“I needed an inexpensive way to go to the “Madonna” concert, customer service agent “Waleed” from motel 6 made my whole weekend pleasant. “Waleed”s” information regarding travel distance to Golden 1 center was on point; “Weelan” saved us $40 in transportation fees. Outstanding customer service from “Weeland”. Previously, This location was there when battling stage III breast cancer; the housekeeping staff and front desk staff was amazing.I would highly recommend this location to anyone because they care about your overall lodging experience in downtown/ water district area. Their evening security patrol is a huge bonus! Security at this location is a huge plus. Believe me they will address any issue if you should have any. Definitely booking family and friends cat this location because they genuinely care about their guests.Walkability: Old town festivity’s and Golden 1 center in less then 15 minutes.Food & drinks: “Denny’s” & “McDonald’s and the best burritos at Arco gas station across the street!Noteworthy details: Excellent location! Great walk paths. Sacramento River, Discovery Park, SMUD science museum, Sac Pd Headquarters, public transportation, major freeways, AM/PM, Chevron fuel, old town and West Sacramento walkways!”

“Upgraded newly renovated guest room is spacious with two king-sized beds and modernized adequate lighting and comfortable air-conditioning. The shower water temperature and pressure are fantastic providing comfortable shower to residents. There are drawbacks in that the hotel self parking is closed forcing guests to use valet service which charges unbelievable and unreasonable high parking fee of $45 per night. There is no not-to-disturb label/sticker available outside the room door resulting unnecessary disturbance to guests by hotel cleaners.”

“Friendly and accommodating staff, good price range. TIP: make your reservations through them and get a better deal than online through a booking website. Room was clean, good sized fridge for someone who likes to carry food. The bed was great but sheets had a strong bleach smell. Bathroom was in good shape, decent towels, but drain had a strong smell too. Gated parking lot but have to call office to get in each time. Would come back for the price and the location. Good if you're not looking for strong amenities but want to save some cash and feel secure.”

“Great location. right near the Sacramento airport. they also offer a shuttle to and from the airport. rooms are appropriately appointed for the level of hotel It is. they also have a free breakfast in the morning. it was quiet but also near interstate 80. we would stay here again when we're back in the area. hospitality at the front desk was exactly what was expected from a Marriott property. definitely All Star all the way around.”

“The whole feel of the hotel is simple, elegant, and a nice combo of modern and classic aesthetic. It was noisier than I was hoping it would be at 5 floors up, but it's very close to the freeway so I guess it makes sense. Also, we had a "river view" which is a little misleading. It's more like river facing but you cant really see the river. At least not from the 5th floor. You can see the bridge though so that's nice. The room was a beautiful, beds comfortable, and amentities were all there.”

“We came over here after our bags and skis did not make the trip on our same airplane to Sacramento and the airline offered us to pick them up the next day, instead of having to wait another day of lost vacation. We made the reservation within minutes of arrival, and they were ready for us. The Bonvoy app works very well What the hotel lacks in modern amenities, the staff makes up for it handsomely. Superb, well trained employees who made us feel at home right away. The hotel obviously gets a huge amount of traffic due to it being in the center of a major university as well as a major medical center. However clean and comfortable, it is well worn. There are posted signs announcing major renovations, which I'm sure will bring it to the standards of the chain. We're also had a very pleasant dinner at their restaurant. A restful night, as we had an early wake-up to get our luggage to continue our vacation.”

“Great experience, the rooms were nice, close to a good amount of other food places. The breakfast was great also. I just didn't like how they rushed the breakfast to be over. 20 minutes before the end time, they start shutting the doors and cleaning up. It made me uncomfortable and I don't understand it. That food is already made. Your just gonna waist it by discouraging the guest from getting what is still left. Other hotels I've stayed at encourage there guest to grab something and try to make you feel welcomed and happy first thing in the morning. Not a great way to start your day. Hurry up and get out of our way we have to clean. Everything else was great.”

“The hotel itself is nice, and the lobby looks elegant. The room is standard fare, and does not include a fridge. The biggest problem with this hotel is the lack of parking associated with the hotel. You have to find separate parking, the closest one being the garage next door that you have to pay minimum $6 or $18 for overnight. And the hotel does not validate parking.”
