About Hertz Car Rental - Sacramento - 16th Street
Hertz Car Rental on 16th Street in Sacramento offers a wide selection of vehicles, including EVs, luxury cars, SUVs, vans, and trucks. Customers report getting nice cars and great rates here, often better than at the airport location. The service receives mixed feedback. Many reviews highlight that the employees are very kind, friendly, sweet, and efficient, with specific praise for helpful and caring service that includes small gestures. However, the location can be terribly understaffed and busy, leading to long waits and cars being uncleaned at the time of reservation. Customers should be aware that staff will try to sell upgrades, pre-paid fuel at a high price, and insurance. While some appreciate straightforward transactions with no scams, others note the team may not be particularly helpful or sympathetic with specific queries, like for new EV renters.

How is a car rental business not open on weekends. And staff is rude.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I had a great experience, everything was as expected. This is a small location so I can see it being slow during peak hours. Ran by an Indian guy, professional and to the point.
