La Esperanza Supermarket has improved over 20 years of shopping. The store is close and the prices are higher but the food is amazing. Hot homemade tortillas are fresh and can be eaten without anything. The carnitas are juicy, savory and the best, freshly made for yourself or a large party. Mexican bread products are at a good price and the sweet bread tres leches cake is a must try. atole tamales and fresh banana leaves are available, and the quality of tamales is outstanding. Take out food has the real taste of Mexico, and the carneceria often has a line out the door and down the sidewalk. Service is best and the same family has delicious variety.
I must say the store has improved over 20 years ive been shopping, I love all the improvements. I remember when they didnt have a meat department and it smelled like noodles EVERYDAY 😶😕.Its great because its close, the prices are higher of course.
