“Came to get some Masa for New Years. Staff were really nice and accommodating. We ended up also ordering a couple of their tamales and the Ranchero Super Burrito. The tamales and the Ranchero burrito were really good. Full of flavor and had a nice spicy kick. I really enjoyed the burrito and will be getting another one soon lol. The masa was really fresh and helped me make the best tamales.”

“Today I was grabbing a few things from TJ’s for dinner and the cashier was very up beat. I apologized to her for being so morose but I’d put my cat away yesterday (he had cancer) and I just wanted to get home to grieve. Along with the offer of a hug she gave me a small bouquet of flowers while offering her condolences.I wish I had looked at her name tag because she deserves lots of thanks for her offers of support and sympathy on a day which is very hard for me. Thank you!”

“Pacific Market is a staple in our neighborhood. So many people know the bright blue and yellow shop "down the street". We love that there is always a variety and full selection of items. We've been lucky to personally know Preet and his team is always welcoming. Be sure to double check your expiration dates before purchase - sometimes things are overlooked. But we absolutely LOVE going to Pacific Market.”

“I love this establishment with all of my heart. Where else can a person buy an entire lunch of barbecue buns and hotdog buns for two for under $15 these days? This place has captured my heart and my stomach. Definitely recommend the scrumptious barbecue buns and especially the har gow, which are perfectly tender, flavorful, and delicious. The staff working the counter are very kind and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!”

“Great grocery store and deli. Yesterday I was buying lunch for three so I got a gyro plate, chicken kabob plate, and a vegetarian plate. All came with flatbread, fluffy saffron rice, hummus, a delicious eggplant-pepper side dish, and a spicy pickle. Unlike some other local places the food is not greasy, just fresh and tasty. Pro tips: The menu is posted on the very back wall, so head all of the way to the back to order. Ignore the "daily specials" messaging, they'll make you anything you want any day of the week. Order first, then shop. Everything is made to order, so it will take about 20 minutes to get your food. They'll eventually bring your food to the front counter where you pay. Grocery shopping: All of the breads are great, but check for freshness. You can usually tell what bread is fresh that day. Halva butter is amazing on toast, as are the jars of "nuts in honey." Huge selection of sesame cookies, all of which are good. Great selection of spices, olives, pickles, figs, rice, cous cous, frozen meats, and deli meats.”

“Came in today for one thing, a jicama. Upon entry, right away I noticed a clean, super organized and extensive produce department. Apples and oranges were in tidy neat rows. Very nice appeal, makes it enticing to shop for more. Went up and down the aisle twice and couldn't locate any jicama. I asked one of the workers and she redirected me to the produce manager. He was the nicest and most helpful. There was one jicama left and a little bruised, so he gave it to me free of charge. He also went to the back to see if there were any pre-cut jicama available, but unfortunately there was none. I was on a time crunch this time, but I'll definitely come back to this location to explore more and fulfill my grocery needs.”

“This is my go-to for Asian groceries! They have Asian vegetables that you don't see at a typical grocery store, unique sauces, dried noodles, fun snacks, etc. They also have a small kitchen in the back of the store, serving spicy Laos papaya salad (my favorite) wings, lunch/dinner rice plates, etc. The owners/employees and very friendly, I always talk to the nice lady that rings me up. The place is very clean too!”

“Beat lamb chops in town. Hands down.This place is a store that opened up a little restaurant type style in the back. It is very informal and that one time had no covering at all. It’s simply on the side of the building however, don’t let the setting for you. Some of the best meat, rice and salad I have ever had.I’ve been coming off anon for the last year, and I believe they are open only Thursday through Saturday but you can’t go wrong with any of the food.I’ve never ate at a place where anything the brain is amazing.For dessert go with the baklava. some of the best in town.The fish is also very good, but the lamb chops are like no other.”

“Back on the boujee CA grocery stores. This is top of the list! Why is it so clean and pretty! Anyways, love the selection sprouts have! Especially for fresh fruit and fresh vegetables.
