“This place is great. The range of products is amazing considering how small the store is. The woman working when I went in (on a Saturday - 30 minutes before closing) was extremely helpful & even allowed me to take a couple of things out to the car to show my roommate. Any questions I had were quickly answered - even a few I didn't know I should be asking. I initially went to get a few things for my mom but saw stuff the roomie needed, too. She even took a call from someone whom she offered to stay open later to accommodate. Wonderful customer service! Definitely will return. Highly recommend.”

“Auggie was incredibly helpful for my mom! She has been using a wheelchair for mobility for the last 5 years or so, and has been so uncomfortable in the electric wheelchair she purchased online somewhere. She's had progressing back pain from her chair! She came in to Marion's Medical supply and right away he could tell why the chair she was in was the wrong chair for her. He was so patient while educating her on what the most efficient and comfortable chair would be for her. He allowed her to try the chairs out, made adjustments on the chairs in the store to see what was more comfortable for her. He allowed her try to chair outside a bit and drive it into her ramp van to make sure it fit. He showed us how to use her straps on the van as well. He didn't rush us to make a purchase. I believe we were at the store for 1 1/2 hours on our first visit. We came back 2 days later to make the purchase. After sitting in the chair for 10 min at home, her chronic back pain was gone. She also got the chair that elevates and she is now able to reach things in the higher kitchen cabinets. Auggie gave too notch customer service and we can't thank him enough!”

“After having a bad experience with Apria, I walked out before getting my CPAP machine. Called my friend who was very happy with the company she was using, cleared it with my doctor and insurance company and went to Pacific Pulmonary in Sacramento. They have just changed over to AdaptHealth. It meant an hour drive but was well worth it. Very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable...they were a pleasure to work with. “Scott is extremely knowledgeable with power chairs and has helped me on several occasions solving hard to diagnose problems. He helped me on Saturday when my seat tilt was stuck. He has also helped figure out electrical problems that my insurance provider, National Seating, were never able to diagnose. Scott is definitely the guy to go to if you’re having an unusual problem or something that your regular mechanic cannot fix.”

“I am writing to commend Cindy Y. at Broadway Medical Supply in Sacramento for the extraordinary level of care and dedication she provided while helping me secure my BiPAP machine.

She went way above and beyond to help me get my BiPAP machine, even though my healthcare provider made the process incredibly difficult with endless delays and paperwork issues. It took months to sort everything out, but Cindy worked with me, even made calls to the healthcare provider to prompt them to send the required documents, etc. Cindy always kept me informed and worked hard to make sure everything got done.

It wasn't easy, dealing with all the incompetence others brought into the mix. I can’t thank Cindy Y. in the Sacramento office of Broadway Medical Supply enough for all the help and support she gave me during such a stressful time!

“I am surprised by the extremely low ratings. I am very satisfied with my Apria CPAP device (Resmed AirSense 11).

My insurance is good- so it covered the CPAP machine. Within 1 week, I received my new CPAP device. It's a newer model, easy to use, and has a nice setup with humidifier, QoL functions.

The app has videos on how to setup the CPAP so it wasn't too complicated. Less than 5 minutes setup. I started with the full-face mask that covers the nose and the mouth and found that uncomfortable. I switched to the nasal which I recommend more. I found that much easier to use.

To be fair- using a CPAP does take 1-2 weeks to adjust. It's not easy early on for the airway to have constant air sent- and it can feel hard to breathe, like you are choking a bit. But the nasal device (resmed N30i) is fantastic, and better to adjust to than the full-face mask version.

I'm average 4 hours per night use, and I hope to increase it to 6-7 hours. It's common for you to first use it, take it off in the middle of the night and keep it off. Once your body adjust to the extra oxygen and device, it should get better. And then you will be more rested in the mornings, and with less headaches.

In terms of custom support- it's 10/10. I called Apria to ask for a swap of the full-face for the resmed N30i, and they just said keep the full-face and sent my the N30i for FREE!! Fantastic customer service, and after 2-3 weeks, I'm finally getting use to it.

I think the key is having good insurance. My experience with Apria has been great. All 3 photos below are directly from the Apria website. Hope that helps!”
