Save Mart is a great neighborhood market and one of the best in Sacramento. The store is very well decorated, organized, and spotless. The produce is excellent and fresh, and all the meats and vegetables look very fresh. It offers a wide variety of groceries and miscellaneous products. The meat department has more meats than Arby's, the deli is great, and the frozen foods section has the best frozen pizzas in the region and also has great ice cream. The beer selection is great. Customer service is outstanding, friendly, and helpful. Many customers find it worth an extra drive. The only noted downside is the super busy parking lot, which can be a challenge.
Very nice produce , but in general , I don't like Save Mart because of their lighting! That may sound strange, but it's just too dimly lit, and that bothers me. It doesn't seem right for a grocery store to not be brightly lit.
