They are as understaffed as they are incredibly rude and impatient. The gentleman that inspected my vehicle upon return basically ensured I will never come back here and will only be telling people to avoid this location at all costs.

I recently had an unsettling experience with U-Haul regarding their handling of my emergency contact information. Despite having my own contact details readily available, U-Haul disclosed my personal information, including my legal name and emergency contact phone number, to a subcontractor without my consent. This breach of privacy left me feeling confused and frustrated, especially considering the subcontractor's unrelated complaint about parking. While I attempted to address the issue by contacting customer service and the general manager, I received no response or resolution. Moving forward, I hope U-Haul takes greater care in safeguarding customers' privacy and respects their personal information."

Rented a truck online through this location to quickly move a few things on a Sunday morning . There was nothing quick or easy about this process. I was supposed to be able to pick up the key and go after completing the online reservation, however the truck I was assigned didn’t exist. After almost 40 minutes I finally got a truck and headed down the road to pick up what needed to move. I look down and the gas gage was on empty, which didnt surprise me given the poor serve I already experienced so I pull off at the nearest gas station and put $20 in. Before leaving I walk to the passenger side to adjust mirrors when I noticed gas running down the sidewalk. On further inspection, someone drilled a hole in the gas tank. After 20 minutes of being bounced around on the phone I end up getting a tow truck dispatched …from Yuba City of all places…a full hour drive from where I am located.

Everything about my experience with U-Haul on Broadway has been absolutely horrible. I rented a small truck online to move a few things on a Sunday morning. I chose the online check in, which was supposed to be quick and easy. There was nothing quick or easy about the process. The app was not functional, so I had to go inside the store and wait in line 5 well one person was working the front counter. By the time I found made my way to the counter, truck I had been assigned, apparently didn't exist. They decided to give me a new truck, and they couldn't find the keys. finally, they found keys, pointed to a truck in the corner of the lot, and said there you go. after a 45 minute process the day was getting warm so I was in a rush to get started with my project... A few blocks down the street I looked down, and the gas is on empty, so I pull in at the closest gas station. As soon as I put 4 gallons in the gas tank, I got out to adjust the side mirrors and noticed gas was running down the sidewalk. Upon further inspection, gas was streaming from my hole in the bottom of the gas tank.

GOOD-The van itself was in decent shape and ran well.BAD-The app for checking in did NOT work and the employees say that it has never worked.BAD-I put gas in the van before returning and tried to figure out how much gas to put in the tank. I miscalcuated and was told to go put 3 more gallons in the tank and then it would be fine. I did that and was still fined for gas.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Kid at the front desk is wearing sunglasses inside and reading texts from his Apple Watch while he is suppose to be helping you. Don’t expect to be treated with any dignity or respect from these ?.

A bad experience turned around by awesome customer service by the manager. Please, people, report if there's a problem with a truck. Sometimes they don't know if you don't take that time. Great job for making a bad experience to a great experience!

The worst place to fill propane. Takes forever for someone to show up and fill propane tank. Even if it's your turn, if another customer brings a U haul truck, they will go right away to take care of that instead of filling the propane tank, which only takes a few minutes. The first time, they made me wait 30 minutes, and then she came told me it would take another 30 to 40 minutes. What a stupid management. What a waste of time. What a disorganized management.

uhaul is attempting to do a " bait and switch" means they give you one price over the phone and when you get to location, they give you a different price, which is illegal. Corporate just told me the equipment is available, I drive to site and then they try to triple the cost and tell me I can't return the equipment there. Thieves... I was told 54 dollars in the phone and then they tried to hand me a bill for 158 dollars. trying to be thieves. If you're having problems as well, the main manager's name/ number is Melissa (916) 929-9739

Idiots here wouldn’t let me rent a trailer bc my hitch was allegedly a “bike rack” when it was fully capable of safe towing a small trailer. I will mention that I was dressed visibly queer and based on the looks the manager gave me as I entered the store, I wouldn’t be surprised if this played a role in their subpar service. They wasted my time and I had to go to woodland to get the job done. Don’t go to these guys.
