The United States Postal Service (USPS) has received mixed reviews from customers in the area. Helpful professional and I witnessed great mindful balancing of customer satisfaction while maintaining efficiency, with a busy employee handling matters well. Coleen, a very helpful employee, went out of her way to assist a customer in locating a package. The experience at this USPS location was generally positive, with friendly and polite staff, efficient service, and a clean, small interior. One new employee was a bit nervous but still did a great job. Another employee, Eric, was fast, efficient, and professional, providing excellent customer service to those waiting in line.
This branch on J Street is completely CLOSED on SATURDAYS and Sundays. I bicycled all the way here with a box just to find the doors locked because their weekend hours differ from most other branches.

Eric and the young girl are super helpful and nice . This is my favorite post office. I refuse to go to other post office because they aren't as friendly

The 48th & J post office may be small with a small parking lot but the customer service is excellent. The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I drive out of my way to this location.
