“Choosing Lakeview Estates & Winery was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The estate itself is breathtaking — it perfectly captured the elegant, classy, mansion vibe we were dreaming of, and there are endless photo opportunities, from the gorgeous estate grounds to the stunning tented reception area.
As a Sacramento local, I always dreamed of a summer wedding. Lakeview is located near the Sacramento River, and the elegant tented reception space made it so comfortable for our guests to stay cool throughout the celebration — even in the warmer months. There was air conditioning in the reception to keep our guests cool.
One of the biggest perks was the overnight stay option, which worked out perfectly since many of our loved ones flew in from out of state. Being able to settle in the day before made our wedding morning so much smoother and more relaxed.
Melanie was wonderful throughout the entire planning process — always prompt, helpful, and attentive. On the day itself, we were especially grateful for Lynn, our coordinator, who truly helped make our “best day ever” AMAZING. She was always within reach, creative, kind, and handled everything seamlessly — anytime we were pulled in different directions, she instinctively knew what to do. More honorable mentions: Cidnee & Helen
Our guests are still raving about the food! The quality was incredible… and the best part is that Lakeview allows you to incorporate two cultural dishes into the menu. This was so meaningful to us as a Filipino couple — we were able to proudly include lechon on the buffet line and share our culture with our guests.
The venue can accommodate a large guest count, but also works beautifully for a more intimate wedding — the atmosphere felt incredibly romantic, cozy, and enchanting, which made the day feel even more special.
We are beyond grateful to Lakeview for helping us bring our dream wedding to life. If you’re looking for a venue that is not only beautiful and elegant, but also culturally accommodating and thoughtfully designed with guests in mind — this is it.
I’m so glad I chose Lakeview for our wedding. It was incredibly emotional saying goodbye to my family at the end of the night, but I truly wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
“Coolest adventure I've experienced this far. Definitely worth it, To be in another place, however still in the same place was mind-boggling. Great time I'll be doing more, Hope this place is here to stay!”
“My boyfriend is a car enthusiast so we decided to visit this museum on a Wednesday afternoon. We had an amazing experience. A nice gentleman approached us and offered to give us a tour. He and Lou (my BF) spent at least 2 hours sharing their car knowledge with one another. When we got into our car to leave, Lou looked at me and said that's was so cool! I felt like we were VIP! I wish I could remember the gentleman's name who helped us. He took this photo of us... Maybe he'll see it and remember?”
“Beautiful area! My boyfriend’s friend got married here . Although the reception and wedding stuff/decorations were very beautiful, they should invest in better speakers/ mics and more building decoration.”
“My kiddo has very much enjoyed her classes here! It’s been a great way for her to use her energy, follow directions, learn agility and social skills. Tumblebuddies is more than just a tumble class! She started classes when she was 4! The coaches are amazing and so good with the kids!”
“The Jury Experience is a worthy experience! The audience is the jury for a trial and gets to participate throughout the play, not just the ending vote on guilt or innocence. The topic is AI - a self-driving car kills a bike rider swerving to avoid a head-on collision. Morality and ethical questions arise and the character of the inventor is suspect. The cast of five did a good job. The Guild theater is a funky old building with a good balcony, but was filthy.”
“Our organization had an event recently at The Center and everything went really well. They were very patient and accommodating with some of our last-minute requests. Elisabeth and Rick were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. It was centrally located since we had guests coming from Sacramento all the way to El Dorado Hills. Parking was conveniently located and the built-in stage saved us money as we usually have to have a stage constructed. Sound quality was great and there were many lighting options. Highly recommend”
“I want to express how happy we all were with the food, venue and outstanding service we received at our son and daughter in laws wedding. It was so beautifully decorated and all our quests and vendors shared with us that the food, was delicious and the customer service was fantastic. It rained the day of the wedding and how they organized the venue to make us feel comfortable was impressive. We felt no inconvenience from the rain. We highly recommend The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks for receptions or any business or family gatherings. They are very professional and so welling to please and it will be a memorable time that will forever be in our hearts.”
“Very cool shop for all your witching needs. I recommend going just to look at all the curiosities! Also there's some cool vintage motorcycles as the owner also owns the vintage monkey”
“Natomas Rose Garden is a beautiful spot next to the Natomas Library. It has a full assortment of various roses arranged in an exquisitely landscaped area!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who lives in or around the Natomas area.”
“My 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado was in need of a complete brake job. I do much of the work on my bike but when it comes to brakes, I wanted an experienced mechanic to do the job. After doing a comprehensive internet search I found Vintage Monkey motorcycle specialist in Sacramento. After back-and-forth email communication with Denis at Vintage Monkey I decided this was the place to take my Guzzi. Denis did a great job on my bike. He kept me up to date on the progress of the job including photos, videos, and notes. My Eldorado probably stops better now than when it was brand new. Thanks Denis!
If you’re looking for a motorcycle shop to work on your vintage bike; Vintage Monkey is the place.”
“This is a very good place to rent for any kind of event. It has all the amenities you'll need. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful! I would recommend!”
“We had our wedding here at Wolfe Heights on June 21. wow - this is my all time favorite venue EVER. Kiya was incredible from start to finish. She got me what I was wanting & more. She did so much personally for us when she didn’t need to. Also - such a joy to work with! The grounds are spectacular year round, their tasting room is delightful & every single person on their staff is amazing. I could not recommend Wolfe Heights enough. I would do it all over again here - thank you all!”
“The theater was clean and well tended. The seats were great, and the sound was impeccable. The staff were helpful and efficient. Everything I'd expect from a movie theater!”
“I can't recommend this place enough! Remy & Jennifer own The Creative Space and are a pleasure to work with! I'm lucky enough to be able to host our Grazing Gouda Charcuterie Classes here a few times a month! This place is perfect if you need an event space to rent, but they specialize in highlighting local artisans to come and teach their craft at their beautiful location! Every weekend they have popups with lots of Sacramento small businesses and they go above and beyond for the community! I have such a great time teaching classes here and my guests really enjoy them! It's a great location too!”
“Beautiful place for all your events! Working with them has always been easy and always great communication! We can't wait to host our daughters Quinceanera in 2025 at this beautiful place! Don't hesitate to contact them, we highly recommend and super affordable!”
“Came for the menagerie market, a gothic craft faire. The venue seemed nice, tho the upstairs was definitely not designed for large crowds as it seemed to get cramped for this event, however that being said, if you have an event here you simply just have to keep that in mind”

“The Elks Lodge on Riverside/Florin is such a warm, hospitable place. They have re-opened Sunday breakfast with a to-order omelette bar, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage. Juice, coffee, tea. It's all really good and well worth the $15.”
“Location easy to get to and affordable parking less than two blocks away. The banquet hall is on the lower level and seems a little dark but a creative hand can turn the space into a beautiful setting. We had our company holiday party there and there was plenty of room for approximately 140 guests, a dessert bar, food tables, and a number of other tables/podiums, etc. There's space for a bar, and a quaint little elevator takes you up and down if you don't want to subject your heeled feet to stairs. Bathrooms were cleaned and well stocked. There's an entry area before you walk into the banquet hall where our photo booth was set up. All in all, a good location with the makings for whatever theme your imagination can come up with.”
“The Elks Tower team is incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted and could possibly need. They were always available in the planning process with our event and helped from start to finish with all the little details. We will continue to work with Elks Tower for all our event needs at their space and catering needs outside their space. Highly recommend hiring them for any event!”

“This is such a lovely space. I work for several different non profits in the area and we have done a couple events at this space. The owners are really great people. They're extremely friendly and accommodating. The space was very clean and all my questions were answered when it came to booking the space. It's also in a great location that is easy to find.”

“* I initially wrote a negative review of this hotel, but the hotel manager called almost immediately to make it right. Excellent management response, so I'm updating my review.*
The rooms themselves are modern and spacious. They appeared to be well-kept. The hotel's location was excellent and the bar/restaurant had good food and service. There is a public parking garage next door where you can park for $18/day.
I had a disappointing interaction with whomever answered the phone when I called to question a room charge of $14. Small amount, yes, but it was meaningful to me. After she hung up on me, I posted a review here and the hotel manager called me very quickly to follow up and make it right. So, just be aware that even if you are a Hilton member - those bottles of water in the room are not gratis!”
“Very pretty. Even in January, there was plenty of pretty flowers to look at and enjoy the smell of. Volunteers working to prune for the season. Great location to walking park with duck pond and playground.”
