William Land Regional Park is a huge, beautiful, and peaceful place that holds a special place for many. It is described as Sacramento's Central Park, full of nature. The park features a lovely landscape with a golf course, bike and walking trails, and lots of trees providing shady spots. It is a clean and quiet place to visit, enjoy quality time, or have a picnic. There is a vast playground area for kids, and it is close to the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town. Parking can require driving farther down. The park hosts events like a well-put-together Banana festival. It is dog-friendly. Restrooms can be far or out of order, with portable potties available.
A great 9 hole course open to the public. Plus the food isn't bad either. The only minor issue is it's located in a public park so you may encounter people or pets passing through the course.
